Some areas of the place could do with a little renovation.

The room was very good. I really appreciated the bath and the fact that one could make the room completely dark at night. Breakfast was simple, but the best thing about this place was that it is situated within walking distance from the Caminito del Rey. The personnel is very friendly and acommodating.

My room was very dark. Curtains didnt cover sides of windows and while in bathroom if door wasnt closed anyone can look in from outside if passing to car park. I ended up trapping the curtains in the outsides of windows for privacy. 1st morning there wasn't enough tables for breakfast and as we had a trip booked we were there for breakfast around 08.15 and we asked to sit in the evening dining area next to breakfast room. The man serving was not happy about this. After our arrival a family turned up for breakfast but he happy for them to be in dining room. The service wasn't great he was on his own. That evening we had drinks in the bar. The barman might want to smile at clients or they will go somehere else to drink. The following night he was happy. Being in the public eye means you smile regardless of what's going on. For the reasons we gave above for our breakfast experience we decided to not eat at the restaurant and went elsewhere..

The situation for access to the Caminito de Rey was excellent.. reception very good especially Gregorio who went to great lengths to tell us about the access to the walk. We listened and his advice to take the longer path was very good. We did just that and the walk was just as he told us. He is an asset to the business.

Would have liked a mini fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold. The bed was a bit hard but have found that to be the case in the most other accomodation we have stayed at in Spain and it might suit a lot of other people.

The location was great to do the start of the Caminito del Ray walk. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean but on the small size but with good hot showers. The meal we had for dinner was amazingly good. We were very happy with our stay here.

the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, hotel is about 30 walking from the entrance to camino del rey (take the 2nd tunnel, ask at reception for more details). the restaurant was very good, a good hotel when you want to visit the camino or surroundings. very quiet in the evenings as well, hardly any cars passing, so sitting outside in the restaurant was a pleasure.

Car park around the back was a little steep and fairly tight. Not a problem though. Just make sure you have the hotel's phone number on you, as the gate seemed to close quicker than they said it would - we were too slow and were temporarily trapped :)

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were large. We booked at short notice so that we could enjoy the lake early without travelling. The price was good for such short notice right in the middle of summer. Breakfast was lovely too.

A nice hotel, 30 min walking distance from Caminito del Rey. The room was simple, but comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. When we arrived the man explained us everything and gave us some advices how to approach the entrance of Caminito del Rey. The breakfast was OK. We had also dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was good.

One of the bed mattresses were a bit soft. The TV has limited channels - all Spanish.

Excellent location for those visiting Carminito del Rey. It is about 6-8 minutes walk to the two tunnels that start your journey to the Carminito del Rey Reception Centre. The tunnel just right of the El Kiosko restaurant traits about 50 minutes. The tunnel for the shorter route (20 minutes) is just 200 metres further south of the tunnel for the longer route. Once you have collected your helmet & hair net & receive a brief safety speech, the purpose walk commences and is said 5 km (approximately 1.5 hours). The staff say the hotel (especially "Gregorio" at the reception desk was super friendly and helpful with advice. The restaurant was ok too for the evening meal - tasty food but relatively small portions. Prices are slightly higher given its location. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is a bit dated but has loads of character.

The location to Caminito Del Rey was fantastic. The hotel was clean, quiet, beds were comfortable and the front of house staff were very friendly and helpful with information on what to do in the area. Parking available onsite.

Breakfast. The hotel is used for visitors of del Caminito and the opening hour of the restaurant is difficult for the visitors of the first slot in Caminito. 30 min before could be more convenient to have breakfast.

In general all aligned with expectations. Great location for visitors of Caminito del Rey. Comfortable enough. Staff, especially the receptionist, very nice and helpful.
