Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Location, after walk from Finistera, perfect. Lovely welcome, easy check in, and wonderful, wonderful, spacious four bed room, top floor with terrace 🥰 comfy beds, super bathroom and sooo clean ….. Restaurant/bar area and terrace, (reception), airy & bright and perfectly pleasing decor and furniture. Breakfast, before setting off for Muxia, delicious and not expensive.

United KingdomNothing.
It was located right on the Camino, you won't missed it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, bright and clean, with window to view nice scenery. The restaurant was amazing, absolutely 5 star chef, the vegetarian dishes were delicious and looked great. For dinner, we have ordered fish and beef, which they served as if in a Michelin star restaurant.

Unexpected luxury in a relatively remote location. Half a day's Camino from Finisterre and a day off Muxia on the Atlantic, the Liresca is an oasis in an attractive village. My room was beautiful, and the facilities were exceptional. The staff were wonderfully accommodating and with the skills of an excellent chef, the evening meal was an unforgettable treat. I would urge all pilgrims to Muxia to take advantage of this particular pension and its hospitality.

United States of AmericaLOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel as I was walking the Camino. Definitely a place to stay. Small, intimate, beautiful mix of modern and rural feel. The room was very clean and bright. Very modern bathroom. The restaurant was excellent - serving above average food and local specialties. Nice little garden space to sit outside and enjoy a drink. As I was there, a group of about 10 local men who had gathered for an afternoon drink suddenly broke out into song. A lovely free concert. Clearly this place is also appreciated by the local townspeople. Staff amazingly helpful and welcoming. Some spoke English. I would love to go back. Also near an amazing beach but weather did not permit me to go there.

Palestinian TerritoryHowever, the extra night I was adding was Oct 31 - Nov 1 and for some reason the restaurant bar was closed Oct. 31 and so was A Brana - the other nice restaurant in the village. I really didn't want to stay in the area alone and without the great food so I asked to go around 3:PM when I found out there was no food. Thankfully, it was not a big hassle which would have been terrible if I had had to waste a day in a place without any services while on a short holiday. So instead they called me a taxi and I went to Fisterra and enjoyed a lovely Halloweeen party at World Family Bar. Many thanks Liresca! It is a classy place!
This place is a real gem. The welcome was great and the staff all seem perfectly able to speak English too. The restaurant/bar is a really special place with plenty of local and organic options - I liked that when asking about the beef, Kenny, the waiter was able to point in the direction of the farm and butcher where the meat was sourced. It was superbly cooked too - see photo. I liked the place and the restaurant so much I decided to add a night. I went to the beach that day - a lovely 2 km walk each way and had a short dip in the sea.

AustraliaNo serious complaints. The only minor issue for me was that the air in the room didn't smell so fresh, probably because the window is usually kept closed so as not to interfere with the 'natural' air conditioning system. My stay would have been even more perfect if there was complimentary tea and if there were vegetarian main courses on offer (the veg options on the regular menu were only starters, although they were quite substantial).
Restaurant with gourmet food (with vegetarian options) for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! (But if you are staying here for the food, remember to avoid Tuesdays when the kitchen is closed.) Reception is open as long as the restaurant is, so there are humans to check you in when you arrive; that means there is no need for prepayment or pre-registration of passport details with some unknown third party website which many other accommodation owners insist on these days. The room itself is no-frill, but very clean and bright, with a highly functional bathroom including a large handbasin and plenty of places to hang towels (which is rare in this part of Spain!). The man who appears to be in charge speaks excellent English. Location right on the Camino from Fisterra to Muxia, at a perfect midway point between the two to break up an otherwise 31 km walk.

IrelandEverything was excellent.
The welcome at check in was amazing, as we were early and the staff were busy catering for the lunchtime demands. One room was ready and this was offered to us immediately to use as a drop off location for our luggage. This allowed us an outing to the beach without the extra bags to carry. The hotel is AMAZING in every way and we even availed of the haute cuisine dinner later. Great value and à gourmet experience for sure. All staff surpassed themselves. This was truly the highlight of our Camino journey. Congratulations all round. 👍
