Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

maybe the bathroom wasn't the cleanest (it was shared), but that wouldn't be a stopping point for me to book here again should I go back to Granada
Very nice host, house quite central in the city and also a lot of cool places where you can eat and walk around.

do not have a desk and any chair; there is a cabinet right next to the door and we hit our head multiple times; do not have a small frig inside the room; could not make hot water for tea or coffee

Great location: I was attending a conference at the Granada Exhibition and Conference Center. This hostel is half a kilometer away. There are good cafeterias that open early in the morning for breakfast and nice restaurants for dinner within 100 meters. Modest price: Needless to say, this hostel is reasonably priced. Comfort: The room was neat, clean, and comfortable, although it took some finesse to unlock the front door. Although she did not speak English, she is a great user of Google translator and DeepL. She was bright, cheerful, friendly, and kind. If I have the chance to visit Granada again, I will book this accommodation, 100%.

At night, external noises such as neighbors' tv's, motorcycles, and rowdy revelers were difficult for sleeping.

Everything was clean and the place is really quite. The location is great, really close to the city center. Lola was super nice and the communication was easy.

Lola was amazing! Very friendly, kind and generous. She speaks only spanish but you can still manage to communicate with her. The room and bathroom were very clean and you will have all what you need!

No complaints. The place is about 15 minutes away from the Cathedral and more from the Alhambra - not a negative, but good to know.
Not a good place to spend time at, but the perfect starting point for the exploration of Granada. The host (Lola?) was friendly, the place was clean and quiet. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

Lola's is a private home and she offers a room with a shared bathroom. But she is super nice, helpfull and close. The room is more than convenient for a visit to Granada, it is walking distance to City Center including main attractions such as Granada's Cathedral. Also it is really close to buses that can take you to Albaicin, Alhambra and Sacromonte. The room had AC and, even though was a bit small, it was more than enough, clean, nice and ready when we got there. If I go back to Granada I will stay here again. The quality for the price is more than worthy and, again, Lola is a really nice woman who is there to help you if you need something.

Unfortunately her english is not well, but I managed with my low spanish level. There are really no other negative points I can state!
Lola was a perfect host, friendly but discrete, the house was very clean and tidy, very well kept. The location was good, close enough to the cathedral and to everything I needed to reach. The house had all the necessary (towels, soaps, hair drier..)

the walls are a bit thin, there is no shared kitchen.
Very clean room and apartment, very kind host (even without English, we communicated well), nice neighborhood 10 min walk from center, bus 33 stop is very close that goes to the bus station very regularly

Everything was perfect, Lola is very kind woman always ready for help even she does not speak English but uses Google translate. Room and bathroom were always clean.Location of apartment was perfect in central part of Granada near shoping streets and restaurants.Near apartment is bus station for bus 33 which goes directly to Catedral and Granada Main bus station.

Take your earplugs. Noise from the streets is surpassed by neighbours watching TV superloud every single night.
The owning madam is helpful and willing. Everything super clean, working A/C. Cafes, shops and supermarket at few minutes walking distance within this safe neighbourhood.
