Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo dislikes, the place is just a little run down. Has so much potential, but to be honest it's reasonably priced for what it is and we enjoyed the peace and quiet
A little more basic than the photos might suggest, but a nice and calm place nonetheless. The staff were really, really lovely and super accommodating. The room was nice and big, spacious and actually really pretty.

United KingdomThe bed and mattress could have been more comfortable. The radiators were dusty.
Lovely old hotel with lovely outside spaces. Good location close to Las Palmas and airport. Very near the beautiful botanical garden. We had a huge bedroom with separate living room. Good range of breakfast food and drink and hot drink machine available 24 hours. Generally clean.

GermanyThe windows are not closing, it was rainy and windy so that was a bit annoying. There is no restaurant in the hotel and also no restaurant near by, (the next one 35min walking), no supermarket as well. You have to have a car which cannot be a requirement. The rooms were a bit dark.
The Atmosphere was very nice. The surroundings as well, it is in a valley in the inland. The room was very big. There was breakfast which was okay.

United KingdomRoom was ground floor with windows with shutters only. Poorly latched so not very secure and no privacy with shutters open. Dust on many surfaces and slightly sad shower. Breakfast was very limited. Difficult to access the car park in the dark (one way through the tennis club car park)
Quiet location and lovely historic feel. Great views over the ravine at the back and fairly easy access off main roads from airport

IrelandLovely hotel with nice sized rooms. Very nice gardens and swimming pool, which make a very relaxing stay. Nice breakfast provided, and there is a coffee machine, little fridge and microwave available for guests use throughout the day, which is a nice touch if you don't want to eat out. Although there is no restaurant within walking distance, there is a choice of really good restaurants within a 10 min drive. The staff were really friendly and the room was very clean.

United KingdomThe room was poorly designed and equipped so not very practical for a family stay. No place to eat, store food or no balcony. Outdoor areas shown in the pictures were out of use for us and breakfast were served indoors. There is a swimming pool but seems to be not for visitors but for wedding parties. There were no working showers or sunbeds. Location is good for visiting the city and botanical garden but there was no shop or restaurant closeby.
The room was large and the staff was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was decent. Wifi was good. The room was cleaned everyday.

United KingdomBreakfast was a bit poor but I am fussy. Boiled eggs and a apple sorted me. No aircon in the room which we didn't realise until arrival. Took a while to find our room as no staff there to welcome us - we actually quite enjoyed it though.
Quiet rural location. Lovely good size suite with comfortable bed. Really liked the room and felt it was good value for the size.

United KingdomIt felt a little tired, needing maintenance, love and care. And the gardens and grounds needed a bit more upkeep.
Interesting traditional property with traditional furniture and extensive grounds. Our room was an enormous suite - much bigger than we expected. It would be a fantastic party venue.

NetherlandsIt's a hard place to reach if you're not by car I can imagine. Also, possibly because we didn't stay in prime tourist season, there was little attention to things we could do. There were flyers but that's about it. Didn't know if it was possible for us to play some Padel for instance.
Loved the hospitality of the people. Even though none of the staff spoke any English at all but I've never been to a place where it has been less of an issue. With some hand gestures and google translate everything got sorted quickly!

BelgiumThe location is secluded. We knew this, but I expected a nicer neighbourhood than it was. It is mainly a place to sleepover and move around by car.

United KingdomThere was nothing we disliked.
The buffet breakfast was a wide selection of traditional foods and was ample for even the biggest appetite. The location was enchanting and fairly secluded. The restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed a very warm welcome with specialist treatment with great description of the dishes available. My partner and I both had steaks and were the most succulent and flavorful we have ever tasted. A truly amazing meal!

SwedenWe had a room close to the reception, ground-floor and our door was on the way to all the other rooms, so it was quite annoying to hear everyone passing by, furthermore the reception staff was not quiet at all. With music and chatting basically, very annoying.
