If you like watching horror movies like I do, and if you are travelling alone (like I did), there is no way you are gonna sleep more than 2hrs per night there ... It s remote and quiet, and the mansion is centuries old. So make sure to enjoy this experience with other people for your own sake! :)

If you want to feel like Bruce Wayne in Batman for one night or a week, this is the place for you. A whole Spanish Mansion just for yourself with fantastic hosts - dedicated to please you and make your stay as confortable as possible. One of the best and most luxurious breakfast I've ever had. The garden and the property are really unique. For sure, it's a different experience from the usual air bnb or hotel.

Two large dogs running freely and “greeting” guests are a potential problem. While the younger Belgian Shepard is generally playful and disciplined, the older German Shepard has a poor sense of humor and probably a strong sense of duty. He managed to unexpectedly bite (lightly, no blood) both my and my wife’s hands in separate incidents while we were busy playing with the other dog. No meals other than breakfast are available at the palace or anywhere near and guests are asked not to consume any food brought from outside. Not a big problem for us but you will have to drive to Vic for dinner.

Museum-grade palacial accommodations in a magnificent country estate. Unique experience of staying in historic, beautifully appointed interiors and being treated like royalty by friendly, gracious owners.

Struggling to say a bad word , I was that impressed.

The property is set in its own grounds with lovely views of the surrounding hills , the building itself is magnificent , built in 1866 and retains much of its old charm and grandeur, lovingly cared for by our hosts. The room was large and had a regal “ downton abbey “ feel about it all very charming.
