Stayed here while I was walking the Camino. The rooms are all individually named and decorated to that theme. They are a bit quirky and that gives it this incredible charm. Had one of my best nights sleep here. Well located and close to the center of town. What really sets this apart is the owner of the property. He is not only a great hotelier with a natural hospitality mindset but is such a warm, funny, caring person. You feel his embrace the moment you step into this property. I would highly recommend staying here whether you are on the Camino or not. Only disappointment was not being able to eat at their amazing restaurant as it was closed the night I was there. I Need to better plan next time !

a Lovely guesthouse right at the beginning of Villafranca. After a longs day of walking in the rain, we were met by our friendly host, Danny. He went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The hotel is right on the Camino. Herminio, the owner, was kind and welcoming. We had dinner at his restaurant and the food was very good.

Enjoyed our stay, disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed (Sunday evening), and could not even buy a bottle of water. However enjoyed our stay, staff very helpful 👍

It’s got a great location right when you come into town. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The dinner was delicious and the room was charming, clean and comfortable. A very pleasant stay on my Camino.

It was clean and beautiful, I could not have selected a better place to stay in Villafranca del Bierzo! The host was very friendly and attentive, I almost ruined my walk on the Camino that day because these lousy delivery people didn’t bring my luggage on time. But Dani? I believe that’s his name… he called the delivery service and made sure my things arrived asap. So kind of him, I would have had so much trouble without him. Bless him and his lovely hostel 🥰

We took a break from walking the Camino to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our anniversary. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate with the wonderful hospitality provided by Dani. The dinners he and his staff provided were definitely fine dining and not pilgrims meals. He is a warm and engaging host who is clearly passionate about treating his guests very well. This is a real gem on the Camino and not to be missed.

Beautiful hostal with great views. Lovely patio. Laundry done with a smile. Danny, the proprietor, was a wonderful host. Everyone in our group LOVED him. We had the best dinner in our 4 weeks on the Camino. Not a pilgrim meal but a gourmet feast. We will return. Thank you, Danny.

Danny is so kind and helped when I arrived with a sore foot from walking the camino. He provided ice packs, foot bath and even though the kitchen was closed he prepared meals to be bought on a tray to the room. The beds were comfiest so far. Location perfect after walking a long way you arrive almost immediately on entering the town. Beautiful room and super quiet too. First place I've stayed on camino where earplugs weren't needed.

A unique and beautiful place with heaps of character. Danny the host is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He was so helpful and accommodating. He is the only person who carried our luggage up 2 flights of stairs and allowed us to check in after we settled in. A good breakfast.
