Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLack of privacy, as beds were basic bunk beds rather than the 'capsule' arrangement usually found in modern hostels. Six beds crammed into a small room. The street where the hostel is situated seems very seedy and run down. No catering facilities (although a basic kitchen was available near reception).
Quite close to a Metro station. Plenty of bars, restaurants etc. in the vicinity. No shortage of towels, soap and shampoo. Toilet and shower directly accessed from the room. Lift to all levels.

Lithuaniahomeless people easily get into the hostel at night, sleep in the kitchen. also trying to enter rooms with cards (perhaps lost by someone). this is not a safe place. there is no staff at night, if your key is broken - you have a big problem.

Saudi ArabiaThe hostel was very hard to find. The rooms were too small for four beds. The beds were also small. It would have fitted a shirt person. Also the noise outside the window was loud until past 2am.
The girl at the desk was very helpful. She helped me get a room when the others were full .

United KingdomThe wi-fi did not work well in the room, it rarely connected and when it did it was slow and unreliable. The bathroom was slightly dirty when I checked in with hairs on the floor and in the shower. No air conditioning so the room got very hot and humid when it was warm outside.
The location was great for my needs and the bed was comfortable. Relatively quiet and was able to sleep well. Bathroom and shower were fine.

PolandAwfully cramped in the room, it was hard to even turn around. Room also very hot even though common spaces with acceptable temperature. Just one blunt knife in the common kitchen. The sharp one nedded to be borrowed from reception (limited hours). No stove, very unconformable to wash up.
Extremely nice staff! Good water pressure and drains. Passable shower size. Good wifi, lockers provided, own ac socket. Kettle, microvawe, fridge, freezer.

United States of AmericaThere wasn't any air conditioning or fans, but luckily it wasn't very hot when we were there, and we were able to keep the window open all night. There was a noisy bar next door, but we had sleep headphones to drown out most of that noise, so it worked ok for us (it could be an issue for others, however). The shower in the bathroom had a bracket for the sprayer that didn't work super well, so either the sprayer fell down constantly or it was pointed at the wall instead of the person using it, so that was a bit tricky to use. The only other issue was that the refrigerator in the common area was hard to use due to space issues. We were never able to fit everything in that we wanted (and we didn't have a whole lot), and at one point some of our food went missing. I think for the number of rooms and beds they have, a second refrigerator would be warranted. I wasn't sure if someone ate our food or just threw it out to make room for their own (either was entirely possible). I've used shared refrigerators at other hostels before and never had that issue before. This hostel is a good value for the location, and I would recommend it if your primary goal is to save money, but just be aware that it is a budget option and you may experience some minor issues.
Moon Hostel Bio was a good value for the price. We booked a triple room and got a room with four bunk beds and a private bathroom. Based on some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but there were few issues and the stay was fine overall. There was a working elevator, an efficient key card system, and it was easy to get to from the nearest metro station.

AustraliaThe bunk bed near the window, where I like to sleep, was difficult to access as the ladder was right against the wall. I had to get a foothold on the heater then hoist up. Sometimes the mattress slid and I nearly fell off. The bed had slats which were broken when we arrived. The receptionist organised repairs immediately which was good. On a hot day the room could be stuffy as no fan.
The first male receptionist was fantastic and gave us good information. He also fixed the bed when we told him it was broken. There was a lift to get our bags up without struggling up the stairs. The room was okay with an open window to catch the breeze. The bathroom was small but functional with a good hot water service. The location was great, close to the Guggenheim and about 30 minutes from the old town. The community area was pleasant with a kettle and fridge to store food.

Czech RepublicYou get a room with two bunk beds, so its capacity is for four people. You hae it all to yourself but I have not realized up until now how annoying the bunk beds are, especially given there is not other furniture where you can be. This was in the info, so there was no bad surprise, I just did not realize that I would mind so much. The room is also a bit dark and there is only one light at the ceiling which is week (especially in the bunk bed). Also, make sure you do not have the window open while the light is on, there will be mosquitoes. The window cannot be opened/close unless you move the bunk ad next to it.
It i clean, bathroom is good, has a bidet and quite nice warm water. There are wardrobes for your stuff.

IrelandThere were some people staying in the hostel who I found frightening. One of them was in my dorm room for 2 nights of my 3 night stay. I think, the hostel should be more careful about who they allow to stay there and for how long.
