We fell for the bottle of wine and 2 glasses, nicely presented as though they were complementary, until we saw the mini bar menu tucked underneath ... (bit cheeky, but won't fall for that again!)

Beautiful room in downtown Bilbao, nicely furnished, big comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Easy walking distance to Guggenheim and the bars and restaurants in the evening.

We arrived a little late and so there was no parking in the hotel but we were directed to a public car park a few inured walk away. Not the hotel’s fault though.

The noise from other rooms, we were unlucky to be in between rooms of a group who were very noisy, with screaming & shouting at night time. So maybe better sound-proofing.

The room was lovely and big in terms of other hotels in the area & the hotel was spotless. The breakfast was great, with a chef cooking your eggs and bacon to order, as well as plenty of cold options to choose from.

bathroom was slightly disappointing, stepping into Bath for shower , and shower head difficult to access without getting quite wet when you are setting the temperature.

Very central with a good number of Cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, Nice selection of tea and coffee maker in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was very beaten. It’s meant to be the upper upscale brand of the NH group, and we could see they’ve spend good money for quality appliances, but maintenance was appalling. The bathroom door was coming off. It’s silicon lining was coming off and green with mold. The shower gel dispenser was empty when we arrived and remained empty. The silicon around the walls and ceiling looked like it was repaired by a child. Furniture was beaten up and cracked. Very disappointed.

Staff were very helpful and kind, they gave us good advice for how to get around the city and what to visit. Breakfast was varied and all fresh, typical foods. Room was very spacious. Location was good, close to the metro and Guggenheim museum.

The lifts were very annoying. Very slow and tiny so max 4 people could fit in. On leaving the hotel, we waited 15 mins to get in to a lift.

Unfortunately the air conditioning needs upgrading and was hopeless in the quieter internal rooms. The rooms facing the street suffered from poor sound insulation from the street noise (and there can be quite a bit on some nights at 2 to 4 in the morning). The hotel cannot control the noise from revellers but improved sound insulation would be a great bonus. If not for these factors, the stay would have been perfect.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite and tried to accommodate our every request. There was plenty of free refreshment (bottled water, tea, coffee, both in the room and in the lobby) and snacks available. Well located, clean, comfortable hotel. The breakfast, although expensive, was outstanding and worth the money. The twin beds were fantastic (2 standard doubles), and the bathroom was nicely arranged.

Quiet room but dark and view was of an internal courtyard. Room and bathroom were spacious, but showing signs of wear and tear. Communal areas look good but bed rooms are in need of a freshen up.

Decent hotel, very handy for airport bus. Good communal areas, nice touch on cold drinks and snacks at reception. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly for the breakfast service. Seems to be well used for business stays and meetings.
