Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pillar in the room was a bit awkward, especially as we had 3 cases with us.
The room was comfortable although a bit small. The breakfast was just perfect! Location to Diagonal Street was so convenient. Alvaro was also super efficient and friendly - great service!

The staff were very good at communicating throughout the booking process and accommodated my requests. Very friendly staff and the perfect location where I could access everything on foot. Thanks so much, I really enjoyed my stay!

The mattress wasn't the most comfortable but was fine for a few days

We had a noisy neighbor next door that’s coughing all night long. But since we initially only intend to one night, we didn’t say anything. The staff did say they would have tried to find a solution when we mentioned this at check out. So soundproofing is a little problem.
Location is good for what we need. Walkable to central and main sites, yet quiet and calm.

Room to room sound insulation is poor. We can hear the neighbor next door clearly, who was suffering from some very bad cough, so it was very unpleasant.
Decent and clean room for a very good price. Location is convenient for our purpose of the trip.

On the first day , I was little baffled because this is a renowned enterprise in hotels (a sudden blackout, cockroach near the kitchen, an unrepair glass in the bedroom) in different cities; however the staff were the ones who compensated these observations. I was satisfied in the end.

The WiFi could be better and I’d like some slippers for people that they cannot fit any in their bags but other than that everything was to the point

I have been traveling and stayed at many places. Sorry, it is difficult to be specific. I know my overall feeling. However, there was an issue that remains with me. My request for full bed, not 2 double beds. For the cost of the room I was disappointed that I didn't know.
Staff very helpful. Returning for 2 more nights in late October.

Shame there are no tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Good location only 15 minute walk from Sants station and 10 minutes to metro for getting to city centre. Good size room and bathroom.

The room was nice, clean and more spacious than I expected it to be. Staff was very kind. We were pleasently surprised when on my sister's birthday, we found a nice birthday card and a compliment from the hotel! Location was also fine - the hotel is near bus stops and a metro station.

Staff were a bit arrogant but didn't bother me much. Breakfast was good but by the third day I was sick of it. Location is far from central and nearest station is a 10 min walk, not worth it if you're going to always be in central area
Room is nice and spacious, clean and comfy. Room was on top floor so no noise to be heard from outside, the neighbourhood is very nice, great shopping mall near the hotel.

The room did not come with a luggage stand/holder. I found a hair on a towel in the washroom. Also, when showering the bathroom floods a bit due to the shower door not covering the entirety of the shower.
Convenient location, close to bus and train! Room was cozy and good view. The safe/vault was reassuring to have. AC helped get through hot nights. Staff was very polite and helpful.
