Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Simple small room. They gave the room beside us to a young and noisy couple. Walls are thing. You could hear the music and conversations.

the pillows. but I don't blame that the hotel. I just prefer them bigger/ fluffier

Breakfast room in the basement is quite dark without natural light.
Friendly staff. Perfect location, close to everything. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Nice Terrasse. Free coffee and tea. Big bathroom.

In room lighting is quite dim, only wall lights, limiting when trying to get ready in the evening.

The cleanliness under the bed could be improved.
The location was perfect for sightseeing and walks to the harbour. The room was comfty, beautiful lobby and terrace. The room-service was doing great. You can choose to take breakfast on the spot.

Breakfast could have had more variety. Other guests should be made aware that it is a family friendly hotel and if there are babies crying they should be more tolerant.
The location of the hotel is very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. The lounge area is comfortable and relaxing.

The room was noisy. One reason is the street besides to the hotel which is always noisy. I think in warmer days this will be a problem because opening windows will be a must. The other reason was the bad isolation of walls. You could easily hear the neighbors' noises. There was no brush in the toilet and liquid soap in the bathroom.
The breakfast was the plus point. For 11€ per person you get a variety of options. Also there is a gluten free menu. The location of the hotel is also Amazing. You can reach La Rambla by walking so easily.

When I originally viewed this hotel on booking.com, it stated that twin and double beds were available, I was also requested to pay in full, shortly after booking, I then requested a double bed and was advised that it would depend on availability, I only chose this particular hotel, because many of the hotels in Barcelona had twins. Upon arrival we were allocated twins, I complained to reception, and we were moved to a double the next day. The hotel was very hot, and aircon isn't available during spanish winter months, and the walks are very thin, we were weakened every morning by a crying baby, not the hotels fault, ( or the baby's) but the walls are very thin!
The hotel was well situated, as there is no facilities in the room, there was a lounge downstairs with a drinks machine, which did great coffee. Overall a nice hotel, and competitively priced for the location.

The breakfast wasn t very good. I wouldn't suggest it. the cleaning of our room and the services in general were ok although I have to mention that friends of us in the same hotel had unfortunately unpleasant experience.
Central hotel, close to the busy street of La Rambla. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. most highlights of the city in a walking distance. coffe machine available 24/7 for free coffee and tea. The superior room was very big and comfortable.

The room looked a little better on the pictures than in real life, but they were okay nevertheless. The doors were a bit too big and heavy and there was no way to close them silently. And there was no toilet brush in the room, which is very weird for me?
The location was excellent, it was close to both metro and bus stops, we were able to get to the beach in around 20 minutes. The staff was also very nice and helpful, they were able to assist us with everything.
