Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe location is amazing - especially if walking/hiking is of interest. Immediate access to the GR 15 for strolls to several hamlets - or longer if you like. The drive from the hotel to the parking lot in the valley of the national park is almost 60min. Dinner was always different & delicious. Not sure what was in the breakfast cake - but it was fantastic. Breakfast items easy to pack for the trail. Staff is very patient, kind, and helpful.

United States of AmericaWe happened on a heat wave and it was tough to cool off at night. Fans would be helpful in summer. Dinners were authentic, homemade and great, breakfast was less so.
An amazing experience. What a special find all about the setting. Not a touristy place but an authentic Spanish, rustic hotel in an amazing location. If you want access to the high mountains and are looking for a unique and rustic spot this is it.

NetherlandsRestaurant was very good but I wish they had some more kid friendly options. It was very hot (30+) while we were there, but no a/c or fans in the room.
Wonderful, off the beaten path, nearby hikes and other activities. Friendly employees, good and fresh food! Great breakfast and selection of local beer and wine. Nice view from the restaurant!

FranceI was not aware that it is so difficult to reach the hotel by car (very narrow road with a lot of curves). You need a solid car and a full gasoline tank to reach the hotel without any problem.
Dinner was very good. Breakfast was quite good if you expect a continental breakfast. The hotel is overall quiet, which is quite good if you are looking to rest in the mountains. The staff was very nice and professional.

AustraliaIt would be good to have a coffee machine that guests could have access to for breakfast. Most food was pretty good, given the remote location. The staff were very helpful & having drinks on the terrace before dinner was special.
The location is beautiful with spectacular views over the valleys & mountains. The bed was very comfortable

United States of AmericaRooms are basic but clean, the view from your room is perfect.do not expect a 5 star hotel but a good facility for hiking purposes.
The hotel is almost inside the national park. If you are there to hike just go out the hotel and there is a few trail heads. Staff is helpful and friendly and food is good. Price is excellent.

SpainNothing.
The views from the restaurant are just wonderful. The location is stunning, the restaurant was great, with a varied set menú which we were able to adapt to our 18 month old. They made us some sandwiches for our treck (límited choice but still very much enjoyed), the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the staff were excellent.

PortugalLocation: The last 18/25 km (depending on the side you approach Nerín) is a steep, bending, narrow road not always enough width for two cars. Do not drive at night. Fully compensated by spectacular scenic views.
Location: In the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, near the spectacular Añisclo Canyon (remember to stop at the viewpoint on the road to admire it). Room: enough space for bags, a balcony where you can seat and sip craft beer sold in the hotel admiring a spectacular view, a desk with a socket where you can work on the computer; electric sockets: accessible without problems, one socket near the bed; lighting: very good. Bed: comfortable, nice shelf over the bed with a light switch and an electric socket. Bathroom: enough space in the shower cabin, enough space for toiletries, heating. Breakfast: good, variety of food, sweets, fruits, good bread, meat, cheese. Dinner: available at the hotel, we did not eat but saw many people coming from outside to dine at the hotel. WiFi: OK. Staff: Very helpful, they allowed us to place some food in their refrigerator and froze some water for us for the next day. We have got also information about visiting Pyrenees and hiking around. Parking: free, large parking at the hotel.
