I would recommend to anyone travelling on Costa del Sol - this is a diamond in the rough - a two star hotel that lives and breathes like a four star. We had a wonderful time and even considered extending our stay. Great and helpful staff and wonderful breakfast.

The penthouse suite bathrooms need updating. They are the only things that let down what is a superb suite.

The location is fantastic. A short walk to the old town, private access to a beach from the hotel and stunning views from the penthouse suite which also had a great wrap around terrace and a “wow” factor lounge area! There was a good choice at breakfast and it was lovely to be able to sit out on the terrace adjacent to the dining room.

This didn't impact our stay at all, and therefore is more for awareness - there are quite a few stairs and steps to negotiate within the hotel, which comprises a series of linked buildings. Also, while there is on-site parking available at 20 Euros/day, this cannot be reserved (contrary to the information in the booking details). There is alternate safe, free parking down by the beach, which is a 2-minute walk up the private hotel stairs or a 5-minute walk up moderately steep footpath. Details on how to find the off-site parking provided by the Hotel were detailed and totally accurate.

A friendly, comfortable, old-style hotel in a quiet location. Perfectly located to explore Nerja's town centre (less than 10 minutes by foot), which has a great range of excellent bars, cafes, restaurants and boutique-style shops. Fantastic views of the beach from the balcony of our room and the hotel gardens, which were very well maintained. Access to the beach via a private staircase. Breakfast was fresh with a good range of food available, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Live "sundowner" music on a couple of evenings too from our Swedish hosts was a nice touch and added to the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel was also a good base from which to explore some of the lovely villages just inland in the surrounding hills.

Very old fashioned bathroom. Tiled steps up to the bath which was still not easy to get into. Shower over bath not very powerful. Very dated hairdryer. Pool shower very shabby, cracked tiles etc. Pool seemed very clean but area around it requires some attention .

Position was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious accommodation. Very quiet and relaxing .Plenty of areas to relax outside.

Our room was just off the reception/lobby area so could hear a little bit of coming and going, but other than that it was perfect.

Location, beautiful view over the beach with easy access via stairs. The outside area and pool was great. Breakfast overlooking the sea was stunning. Big bathroom. Comfortable beds.
