Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JerseyThere were constant queues at reception, so it took an eternity to speak to a member of staff. I had a large group of 23 guests and had to pay for all of their rooms individually after they each arrived (in separate smaller groups), which seemed a crazy way to do it when I was offering to pay for all upfront. I had to pay a €20 deposit to rent an iron and then they didn't have an ironing board. Avoid using the cashpoint in the hotel lobby, this charges huge fees.
There's was a decent sized pool and space for groups to hang out without feeling on top of each other. The all-inclusive was better than I expected. There was a quiet pool area and a party pool area, so often at these types of places you only have the party pool area, so that was a pleasant surprise.

AustraliaHotel amenities were great, very good location (walkable to sights, beaches, restaurants and shops), close to airport. A lot of communal space to hang/chill to pass the time. Room was fine.

IndiaThe elevators were horrible. Sounded like they gonna break anyway. Also, room could've been better as it looked like old constructed walls and cramped room also.
The breakfast was great with lots of varieties and big space to enjoy the food. The pool just outside the bar was at a very nice location too.

AustraliaThe bathroom is tiny and the door hits the toilet The spirits are definitely watered down, which isn’t such a bad thing if you’re drinking all day

NetherlandsThe rooms are really small and for a family , there were still two single beds which made it very difficult while sleeping. Also, there was no kettle in the room for hot water which was another difficulty id you travel with a family and kid .
The Hotel is at the prime location just in the middle of city of Ibiza. and the breakfast is awesome in the hotel .

United KingdomWhen I have stayed previously there have been mini fridges and teas coffee facilities in each room. Really sad these have been removed, especially the mini fridges. Nothing like getting home from a night out to luke warm water
I have stayed at Mare Nostrum three times previously as well. What I loved about my stay this time was being placed in a twin room rather than a teeny single bed shoebox room that I have stayed in before. People are complaining about the food but I think there is a good variety of options and the food is fresh. The pool and location of the hotel is fantastic. The staff are wonderful

AustraliaThe noise coming from chairs moving along the tiles outside and the tiles in the rooms surrounding me was awful. Definitely need to put some sliders under the wooden chairs. The room decor was terribly outdated. Visible mould/mold on the curtains looking from the balcony in. I had a bath in my room but couldn’t use it due to not being able to locate a plug. The room didn’t have any usb charging options. The hotel doors need closers so you can’t slam them shut and fling them open. It sounded like a bomb going off when people around me were coming through their doors. The air con was quite loud. I barely got any sleep the first night due to noise. The second night I added ear plugs and a face mask and had a much better sleep
Loved the all inclusive meal and drink package, definitely for my moneys worth. Loved the location. The pool was nice. The buffet food was ok. I took advantage of the tattoo parlour in the lobby. The staff were all fantastic and friendly, Including housekeeping.

United KingdomThe food wasn’t that great & the walls were thinner than any hotels I’ve stayed in in Ibiza, but it still is a brilliant hotel and perfect location! Not a bad review, just heads up for people who might want a lie in when they’re hungover lol!
The location, pools, tattoo shop, the clothing shops, staff were just the nicest people ever! :)

United KingdomBreakfast was very average. Considering is Ibiza, they should be more flexible to breakfast times. Same with check in and check outs.
The staff are amicable, and the facilities are OK for Playa d'en Bossa. Although it is not good value for money. You pay to be near some of the clubs in Ibiza, but that's it. Nothing special.

IrelandNot the hotels fault, but there was alot of 20 something instagram posers. Thinking they are something special. Bit rude and full of themselves. Maybe I'm just too old for divas. LOL! The all inclusive had a good selection of food but some of it was not great. Soggy frozen veg/ strange grey looking burgers. But the majority of it was good and well worth the money. The breakfast was particularly good. Great variety. Would have liked a little bottle of conditioner. There was shower gel/shampoo.
The staff were excellent. The lady on reception was so polite and beyond helpful. As were the bar staff so lovely and attentive. The house keeping staff were also so lovely and helpful. Even the security staff were very on the ball , offering to call us a cab when checking out. We didnt even need to ask. 10/10 for the staff. The all inclusive was good value for drinks. Beer and white spirits were good.
