Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceHave in mind that you walk a lot from the center ,its up the hill and there are a lot of stairs. It was difficult to go up with the suitcases. Also the fact tha the room number 2 ,ours ,had the bathroom downstairs was tiring.Which we knew before closing, but since we were the only ones that stayed in the house and room No1 and 3 had their bathroom close ,i guess our host could change the room and make the stay more pleasant.
Our host was not there in person but the WhatsApp instructions were cool,so no problem. Also the bathroom even though it was downstairs and far from the room it was at least inside the house and closed and sealed with a lock

CanadaI wasn't crazy about sharing a room with strangers but everything was fine. We never saw our neighbors and the bathroom was always clean. The front door was hard to close - you really had to push hard towards you to shut it.
We walked from the train station to Casa Guidai. It was a 30 minute walk and even though a portion of it was uphill, the walk was really interesting as we got a really good feel for the neighborhood. The house was easy to find once we got a Google link from the host. Our room was on the third floor and even though the bathroom is separate and shared with another room, we never saw our neighbors or had any issues. Everything was quiet at night. The bed and the bedding are very comfortable. The view from the terrace especially first thing in the morning is outstanding.

CyprusThe location is great. In the old neighbourhood of Granada offering the real vibe of the old city away from the busy streets and touristic area. A bit of an uphill walk but totally worth it. With an amazing common terrace overlooking the old city, offering a look in the traditional gardens and the surrounding houses and the caste of Alambra right opposite. Priceless. The room and the entire house are tastefully decorated with elegance. There's attention to detail, lovely smells, art on the wall and local features. Ana Paula was very attentive even from distance and was kind enough to give us a free upgrade to the bigger room with an inside bathroom that I totally reccomend. Great shower, comfortable bed. If you want to have an authentic experience of Granada, this is the place. I wish we could have stayed longer.

ItalyOur private bathroom was on another floor, which is a bit unconfortable. The bed mattress was too soft.
The house is very nice and clean, with an amazing terrace at the second floor with view on the Alhambra! It has also a small but well equipped kitchen with a fridge to enjoy the terrace for breakfast or evening drinks! The staff has been very kind and available. The position is great to visit the city! Absolutely recommended!!

GreeceIf you plan to stay long, it can be tiring. The room is really small, the bathroom is outside the room and the mattress is average.
Great location, very good value for money, in a quiet street. Ideal for a few days. Great balcony view to the palace.

ThailandThe bathroom is outside the room. It was not a big deal but just remember you need to be dressed properly to go from the bathroom to your bedroom. All in all it was not a problem for us as we were almost the only people staying there at the time. And it was worth it.
The views from the terrace were breath-taking. The host was very communicative. It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed Albaicin so much. I highly recommend this place in Granada.

NetherlandsThe bed was not very comfortable. If there are other guests, it can be quite loud when bouncing doors and going to the toilet - which is outside of the room.

Germanyonly one thing: the wall is relatively thin, probably it’s because it is an old building. Light sleepers like me will be woken up when the neighbors go to the toilet. So the next time I will bring ear plugs. But this is the only thing I didn’t like.

CanadaLovely apartment with a seperate but private bathroom. Our room was comfortable with an air conditioning unit and small balcony. The rooftop terrace has beautiful views of the neighbourhood and the Alhambra. The location is beautiful, historic, and convenient (as long as you are okay with climbing a few hills / stairs). Our host was very helpful and responded quickly to questions.

United States of AmericaCan be a bit disruptive if other guests are noisy as sound will echo. Entrance door key is to be left in the lockbox outside, but a guest accidentally locked the door as he left, essentially locking us inside the building! Thankfully I could reach through the bars on the door and get a key out of the lockbox! A front door key should be issued to each guest.
Quiet location away from the tourists but still walkable to the attractions. Beautiful rooftop terrace with view of Alhambra plus a small shared kitchen-like space (coffee maker, toaster, microwave). Room 1 has the bathroom inside the room, while #2 has to go down a set of stairs and #3 is down the hall. Each is private solely for the room occupants, though. Managers were very responsive to communications. We enjoyed the small bottle of champagne!

United KingdomMore coffee capsules would have been useful as we were there for 5 nights and a few extra basic essentials sugar etc and utensils in the kitchen.
The location and the views were fabulous. The upstairs terrace area had a fantastic view of the Alhambra 😀 probably the best in Granada. There was a useful kitchen area with microwave, coffee machine and kettle. The communication with the host via what’s app was excellent.
