The swimming pool was crowded (mostly with kids), the digital TV signal was poor.

The hotel is situated three minutes away from Cala Gran, which is one of the best beaches in this part of Mallorca. It is a complex of several buildings surrounded by pleasant vegetation, the vibe was very nice and calm. We enjoyed Picco restaurant that is a part of the hotel: the food quality and prices were OK (as opposed to some other tourist trap restaurants in Cala d'Or). Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also alright. We rented bicycles for a day: although a bit pricey, they were in mint condition - highly recommended!

The breakfast was good except high quality cereals/mysli was missing. The quality/condition of the rental bikes was poor. The kitchen in the room was not particularly well equipped.

The staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you! The price was affordable. Special thanks to breakfast coffee bar personnel :).

Had to pay 21 euro for 6 nights to use the room safe. I wouldn't have minded paying a returnable deposit for the key, but think having to pay to use a safe box which is a basic facility in most hotels is a bit cheeky, especially given that the balcony doors only have the most basic clip to keep them closed with no proper lock, and the balcony doors were left open one of the days by the maid, so a safe was a must due to the hotels own carelessness. Whilst the rooms were cleaned daily, towels changed and beds made, the hotel claims to change the bedding twice a week (which I believe is unnecessary), ours never got changed over the 6 night stay. There was a huge bird poo splatter on the wall and floor of our stairwell on the day we arrived. The maids walked past it and over it everyday. Maintenance finally dealt with it around 4 days into the holiday by painting over it on the wall but without washing it off first and the poo on the floor was just left there unswept or mopped which was disgusting. Picco restaurant was completely understaffed which left guests constantly chasing their order, complaining and having to leave without their food. Food there looks amazing if you can get served. Take away pizza is a good option from Picco. Guests were allowed to leave towels on sun loungers for long periods of time throughout the day which whist not an issue in October when I was there as there were plenty of loungers, I can imagine could be an issue during peak season. Music is piped through the complex through speakers in the garden all day. One morning it started early, around 7.30 am and as one of the speakers was right under our bedroom window it was loud and woke us up. Overall the hotel is great but felt generally a few silly things let it down.

Location is superb. The hotel is right next to the beautiful beach of Cala Gran and a 4-5 minute walk into the centre of Cala d'or. Life guard attended pool with penty of sun loungers. Pool towels available to change for clean ones whenever you want. Friendly staff. Good food options. The little food truck by the pool is fabulous for a day time snack with the meatiest burgers ever. Well maintained gardens. Clean, functional and very spacious rooms.

The food options of the in-house restaurants and for room service weren't great; they were very basic and took a long time. The kitchen in our room wasn't very well equipped to cook and they did not provide cleaning utensils/liquids. The TV didn't seem to offer the ability to receive video streams from the phone.

Right next to a beautiful cala (beach)! We also liked the natural walkways to the room and the multiple spaces and pools for kids. The bed was really comfortable.

We asked for 2 rooms next to each other so grandparents could help with childcare, we were fairly close but not so our toddler could go from one to the other. The hotel is very well thought out, especially for families with babies & young children, however it would have been helpful if there was a ramp up to the raised pool area & a ramp up to the pool bar seating area. Not a massive issue would just have made life a bit easier with a sleeping baby!

Hotel was fantastic, excellently equipped for families with small children. The little pool with slides was great as it’s so shallow, our toddler who can’t yet swim was able to play freely because the water was so shallow for her. We also all loved the blue mat in the big pool, that was great entertainment every afternoon! All the staff were very friendly & seemed to be happy in their jobs - everyone we met through from reception, restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaners & maintenance staff. The pool area is not slippy at all which was also great

Not good signage, we drove in circles before finding the hotel! Self catering……… maybe for two but a family? NO Miserable check out, short dark haired girl, showed me bill, I paid on card and she said ‘that’s done you can go’ I have always been thanked for staying, invited to return and wished a good journey onwards! Not once did she say good morning, thank you or enjoy the rest of your day! Yes, I was done!

Conveniently placed to park and walk everywhere. Local restaurants good, we love the marina for great food. Room clean every day wonderful.

Lots of families with babies, toddlers and kids. Might not be the ideal hotel if you are looking to chill peacefully by the pool - we were lucky to have the room far from the pool and activities area so our stay was great even though we did not use the pool and preferred the sun beds at the beach.

Close to the center and to the beach, nice breakfast options and the appartement was of good size!

We went in August so pool area was very crowded. Not enough beds etc. Despite putting dirty towels in bath, maids just hung them back up, not replaced on occasion. Served drinks around the pool in glasses. Lots of smashed glasses around pool area, I was on pins for the little ones with bare feet.

Everyone is allowed to put towels on pool lounges overnight to ‘reserve’ their place for the day. This shouldn’t be allowed. They remain vacant but reserved for a lot of the morning when others could be using them. Consider banning this practice, or removing towels where the lounge is vacant for longer than 30 minutes. It would make it a fairer system for everyone. We were also treated very poorly showing up early for breakfast one morning, even though we’d checked the night before if it was okay (as we had an excursion). It was disappointing.

If you enjoy peace and quiet, don’t get an apartment by the pool, is extremely noisy.

Great location close to different beaches, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic but comfortable, nice and clean, ideal for a family. The food at the restaurants was varied and tasty. The Picco restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the animation. The staff was absolutely brilliant, super nice and helpful, making you feel at home.

The main pool was a little small. Sometimes crowded for swimming but everyone in good spirits, tolerant of others playing ball etc. The area around the pool for sunbeds could also do with being a bit bigger.

Hotel was very clean, nice rooms and in a good location for the beach and town. Lovely little pools with slides, water jets etc for little ones. Breakfast was fantastic, never too busy, plenty of tables and absolutely everything you can imagine to eat for breakfast. The hotel food and drinks were reasonably priced. The burger van was great. Entertainment was good, couple of shows, quizes and kids disco in the evening. Enjoyed water polo and aqua gym in the day. Rooms cleaned, beds made and fresh towels etc everyday. Plenty of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap. A great family hotel.

When we arrived the hotel room wasn’t cleaned. Hair and dust on the floors. Informed the staff who, to be fair, went above and beyond to get the issue sorted and even offered us an alternative room. We decided to keep the room but requested for it to be cleaned. Seems like the issue lies internally with the staff.
