Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The automatic messages sent by the hotel prior to the stay that created confusion.
The room was clean and elegant, with a terrace and a view behind the hotel where it was quiet. Free parking on the main street (white street marking). Walking along the Atlantic to the old town.

Walls were thin and you could hear the neighbors easily. It's a Spanish hotel so coffee was not included in the room and couldn't get from the breakfast room. There is a coffee vending machine in the lobby.
It was in a neighborhood with a lot of options for cafes and bars. Easy walk to the beach. 40 minute 'beach' walk to the old town. We were there when the weather was a bit rainy which made it not ideal but were able to basically walk the island to explore.

An opportunity to make tea/coffee in the room would have been nice. Otherwise there was nothing I didn't like about the Hotel.
Hotel was very clean, staff were super friendly, Location was perfect for restaurants, closeness to the beach etc. We will definitely revisit Regio.

Nothing! It was a great hotel!
Very good room, hotel, and staff. Would definitely go back! Everything was clean and there were no issues whatsoever. I found that the staff, even the cleaners, were ready to go out of their way to make our stay a great one.

Room cool, but bathroom really cold. Neighbour rooms in renovation (but no noise).
Basic good hotel firm beds.. Stayd in the 1st floor, surprsingly quiet. To have parking (San Juan) close by is good (although pre quidance where to drive would be really nice and needed in packed traffic!). Clean room. Breakfast buffet ok but not especially worth for money. Reception nice.

The hotel is located close to the beach and is easily accessible to the Old Town by bus. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel, and paid parking is available for those traveling by car

I found the laundry prices a little bit expensive.
The staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever needed. The hotel is nice and comfortable. The room size was more than enough for a solo traveler and quiet. The breakfast was very good and there was a big variety. The old town is about 25 minute-walk from the hotel; so if you like walking, you can do that along the beach promenade.

The areas inside the hotel outside the room were too warm should invest in better AC. The breakfast was ordinary. Should buy some better bread from a good bakery and some fresh juice instead of dispenser juice.
Location is very good close to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. A bus to Cadiz centro is near the hotel. The room has a nice refrigiator and aircondition that was useful due to hot weather.

We had some problems with opening outer curtains.
The staff made us feel welcom. Breakfast was fine. Rooms are comfortable. Parking nearby in parkinghouse (ask hotel) or on street (costs daytime). Walking distance to sea, and why not to Cadiz city center by promenad. Hotel is simple, but nice.

All good.
Good location , near the beach. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Good transport . The number 1 bus runs into the old town at plaza easpana. It only costs 1 euro and 10 cents. Cadiz is a must see. Probably a couple of days and you will have seen most of the old town. Try and stay when a football match is on.
