This was our first time holiday with kid in this type of resort and I was really astonished. We decided according the very good reviews and it was worthy of it. All people working there are really kind and trying as hard as possible to make your stay memorable. As it is "family" place, there were kids of very small age everywhere, and I liked a lot the preparedness of all facilities for it, especially two restaurants, where you automatically get a chair for a small kid, even a bib. Such small details surprised me and I admire the all employees who were managing very well all types of situations, mainly the busy breakfast and dinners, where kids are running everywhere. All spaces all cleaned every day, the access to beach is very practical and easy, the nature around is beautiful. We had a really great stay, thanks a lot.

Only two pieces of hopefully constructive feedback on the rooms: 1. Within five minutes my two year old had opened the cutlery drawer in the kitchenette, which contained the sharp kitchen knives. We moved them, but maybe they can be placed in a rack in the overhead cupboard. 2. We loved the little sink in the bathroom for kids. Our toddler wasn’t quite tall enough to reach it though - a little stool that could be slotted underneath it would be great so little kids could reach the taps.

Travelling with young kids can be hard, this place makes it seem easy. Everything is so well set up for families: the pools and entertainment were great fun, the food was good, the staff were friendly - it gets everything right.

Some small things could be improved. It would be nice to have some bottles of water in the apartment, it is barely acceptable that you could only change towels in pre-determined days; it is hard to understand why fresh orange juice is only available at breakfast some days per week...

Very good option for families with children. The apartments are great, everything is for kids (the apartment has a small bathroom with a children's toilet bowl, a children's basin, etc.). The pools are great. Location is also very good, with direct access to the beach

Very little to dislike, being very picky I would say the shower door was a little awkward.

Great selection and quality of food at both restaurants, we loved the daily grilled steak and fish to order. The animation team delivered a very good balance of activities during the day. Our children didn't go to the kids club but they did take part in some of the activities when they came to the main pool, equally we enjoyed the aqua aerobics sessions which we've never done before! The beach is amazing with warm clear waters, very easy to get to from the hotel. Tip - there is a box before the beach tunnel where people leave behind sand and pool toys, check this box before going to the supermarket!

Nothing, perfect stay

Exceptional stay at Royal Son Bou. Perfect for families, many activities for the kids and wonderful beach close by. Staff is very friendly and helpful, I would definitely return to this hotel without thinking! Pools are great, food is very good for a buffet and there are good restaurants nearby also, would definitely recommend without thinking twice!

I can't think of any downsides, but 1 thing I would mention is that I would have loved to upgrade to all inclusive, however I found that a little pricey. With all inclusive we had a 1 year old so did not over indulge in drink and had to go back to the room at 19.00 each day to put him to bed, so all inclusive would not have been worth it to us with us not drinking very much alcohol. It's a shame because it would have been nice to pop to the bar throughout the day and not have to go out each day to get lunch.

We believe the food could be better. The hotel hosts a lot of people so I guess it's not easy to keep a high standard but that is a very important aspect for us and it was below expectations. Sometimes less is more.

The hotel facilities are very good and there are plenty of spaces and activities for kids. It's a truly family hotel. The swimming pool is great and the staff is very nice.

nothing we didn’t like, maybe food could be even better. because there was a lot of choice but quality could be even higher.

the kids entertainment is thw best we could expect!! as well as the spaces available for them to play, the additional activities available and the possibility kids have to stay among them. we didn’t use all of the services they offered because our kid is young but I bet in couple of years kids would enjoy it even more. other things we liked, the many things at kids height.

There is nothing I can fault. My husband didn't like the bed mattress and pillows but that is a personal preference of his (me and my son slept very well).

Loved everything, particularly the Kikoland activities and the excellent service of the entire staff. We are not usually an "all inclusive" type of family because we like to explore new places and restaurants etc but we ended up spending most of our vacation in the resort because it had absolutely everything we needed/ diversity in food and activities and many lovely beaches nearby.

Everything was amazing! Clean and comfortable room, the buffet was really good for adults and kids. All very clean, pool, restaurant, toilets. The location is perfect, only a few steps from the beach!! The shows are different and the kids club is 5 stars!

Everything! Staff we excellent always there to help. We were able to stay on after check out Late flight used the downstairs shower facilities. Spotless rooms. Good selection of food. Easy private access to beach was great as my mother inlaw has walking difficulties. Kids loved the pool activities. We also felt very safe walking about the small resort very relaxed ! Wish we could have stayed longer!

You have to pay a token price ( €2 per day) to collect a bed at reception for the beach and carry it all the way down ( it’s bout 7 min walk through a Private tunnel ) - it would have been nice to be able to hire a bed on beach with the hotel , as with kids it’s hard to lug more things around.

Nice apartments, Lovely communal areas, great big pool ( which allows inflatables) and total separate pool for toddlers , choices of restaurants, Very clean, lots of events including at the kids club and very helpful staff . Doctor on site each day ( for a fee) which we had to use so very convenient . Fabulous for family holiday!

I had one drink in the bar and it was not very good, though I don't think people go to this hotel for the drinks.

There are a lot of facilities and activities to do for all ages. There is a very practical tunnel to get to the beach.

We ordered bottles of water at dinner each evening but I felt as everyone was doing this it was a waste of plastic / glass. I'd prefer to use a dispenser, paying if necessary. The environmental impact of all those bottles!

There were so many kids activities to suit every age. The beach was beautiful with great food at the cafes but also fantastic food in the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and the gardens were lovely. My boys loved the games room and the reception staff were great at giving me change from my euro notes for the machines.
