We loved everything. The apartment is beautifully designed along with the most comfortable bed I have slept in this year. The apartment is well equipped and It is in a quiet location. Pilar provide clear check in and out instructions.

We should have gone there earlier and stayed longer!

We booked the property at the last minute after a traumatic experience at our previous property (Gatu Vila Galeona). We were so happy to have done so! Sanat Maria 12 was hidden away next to a church in an authentic and quiet area of Cadiz, close to the old town, the rail station and the beach. The beach is about 500m long with beautiful soft sand and is a good beach break with soft sand, beautifully clear water waves up to 1.2 m especially at the turn of the tide - I enjoy body surfing so this was ideal. There are also good free facilities on the beach. The station is within easy walking distance and downhill most of the way! Ok but this does mean there is a bit of a hill to get to the property ;-) Howver it means the property is easily accsssible by public transport. Pilar our host was incredibily helpful and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were in pristine condition and the roof terrace was charming, spacious and comfortable. Details like the careful way toileteries had been wrapped in towels showed how much care had been lavished on the property. The proerty is well equipped so tking everything into consideration, it is easy to understand why Booking.com says it is "almost nver available"!

Pilar was very accommodating with our arrival & departure, especially our luggage storage. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and helpful. The renovated building highlights its ancient history, e.g., the Arabic well.

I loved absolutely everything about this apartment. Beautiful location with outstanding views from rooftop. Very central near train station and within walking distance to the old town and the beach. The apartment is stunning with beautiful artistic touches and Pilar is an amazing host offering advice on where to visit....restaurants....places of interest and is always on hand to answer any queries that you might have. I will definitely return and would advise anyone planning to stay in Cadiz to stay in this apartment. A memorable stay.....one that I will not forget.

It was excellent. The location is magical because everything is nearby - from the beautiful beaches to the Old Town and the train/bus stations. But at the same time - peace and comfort. The ancient church (founded in 1567) behind the wall takes you back in time. The owner is a pleasant and responsive person. I am glad that there are such wonderful people! Thanks for everything!!!

All was good for a budget stay for a short period, basic but absolutely no complaints.

Fantastic location, quiet on an evening, close to the main square and old town. Parking nearby and reasonable. Well equipped apartment, decent shower but a bit leaky. Towels could do with replacement. Comfy bed. Helpful communication from landlord regarding parking and very clear instructions regarding entry and exit.

Not much in the way of a window felt a bit Tomblike the property is attached to an ancient church and as such seems to suck the deep cold from the neighbouring stone. Even with all heating sources deployed it felt cold at night but this is January and the locals are wearing heavy overcoats in 20 degrees sunshine. Which makes me wonder why there isn’t better heating.

Stylish and everything you need for a few days basic self catering, good quality bed. Would be great in summer. The location is perfect it never seems a stretch to get back there after walking all day

The bathroom was a little dingy and slightly smelly but I still loved the place. Oh and the door handle on the bathroom was broken.

You get a code for the apartment via email and then it's just easy. Although the directions given weren't so easy to follow coz not all of the streets had street names visible so I recommend having google maps on (my phone battery died at inopportune moment!).

Construction was taking place at the hotel, which we were not told about at the time of booking. We messaged the host (Pilar) to complain after being woken up at 8am by heavy pounding and hammering, as well as very loud conversations. Pilar promised it would not happen again and apologized. Unfortunately, it happened again the very next morning at the same time, right over our heads at 8am, as well as later in the afternoon. This property should not be accepting new reservations until the construction is finished. If not for these loud disturbances, my score would have been a 10/10.

Was so excited about staying here, after reading a lot of great reviews. It’s close to the train station and within walking distance of all the local sights. Room is beautifully decorated, spacious, and nicely stocked. Excellent wifi, and the host was very kind to leave us a lovely welcome note and box of chocolates upon arrival to celebrate our special occasion. Really, really appreciated.

I can't think anything. Just clarify the customers there is no elevator so they can plan the baggage (mine is huge 😊). Maybe a full body mirror would great.

Great apartment with everything you need and a touch decoration. Very good communication. Appreciate the support while I was sick. I had all the amenities in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Very good hot shower, comfortable bed, it's pretty overall. It's 5 minutes walking to Plaza España where is a Carrefour express and 2 minutes walking to the maritime walk area. Very recomendable.

I was allocated a ground floor apartment which was designed for those less abled. I did not need this and could have prevented someone from getting the apartment who needed it.
