Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast was a bit limited.
We were upgraded to a better room, which was a really nice surprise. The hotel has all the necessary facilities, and is really easy to reach from the airport.

Everything was great.
Marvelous hotel, situated very close to the city center. The staff was very polite & helpful. The parking is a great asset !

The bathroom had a jacuzzi style tube that didn’t work
Nice and well decorated. Very comfortable and got an upgrade. Breakfast buffet style good and complete.

Could not get the room safe to work. Room was small but perfectly adequate.
Well appointed hotel in a convenient location to access city centre. The room was of adequate size but only 1 arm chair and 1 desk chair. Bathroom facilities are excellent. 6 lifts meant that waiting times were short even during busy periods. Car parking cost 18 Euros a day but was secure and easy to access. Staff helpful and readily to hand when needed. In summary a very good value for money hotel.

Both underground car park and location were great - 15 minute walk to old town and Plaza España. We were expecting a standard double but were given a junior suite, wow. Lounge area with tv, bedroom with 2nd tv, dressing area, bathroom, separate toilet/bidet. They had thought of everything from gown and slippers to comb and sewing kit. Very impressed.

The bedroom was too hot, and we did not sleep. We could not use the air con - heating system and even though the window did open, on the 11th floor, the heavy noisy traffic prevented us utilising it.
It was spotlessly clean. Good location for walking to city centre sights. We arrived earlier than check in time and were able to park up in the underground car park beforehand and deposit our luggage in the hotels secure store.

Weirdly enough an enormous seating area /lounge and a tiny cafe / bar. Despite having 10+ customers at midnight the bar was closed and unable to get another drink. Small pool but area nice, staff were super friendly and accommodating.
Free upgrade to a junior suite which was AMAZING, super comfy beds and a great view. Great location for town and superb facilities. Used a taxi to get into town and it was only €8. Swimming pool area looked nice but didn't use it.

It’s still within walking distance of the city center, but I wish it was closer.

Poor lighting in room. Aircon wasn't working on arrival, maintenance did repair but still wasn't the best. No radio stations on TV Poor shower over bath. But non of the above negative enough that I wouldn't stay again.

It would be nice if customers trying to speak Spanish were answered in that language instead of turning conversation into English, and if the panorama floor was available also for drinks, not just lunch or dinner.
Nicely located between the Santa Justa railway station and historical city center. Excellent breakfast and hard-board dinner, which included a nice variety of choices, but which would have been even better if it was served in the 13th panoramic floor instead of ground floor.
