Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaBecause the accommodation is not a traditional 'Hotel' there are no staff services that are of in-person access and so if you arrive early you are unable to keep your bags anywhere until check in. Keep this in mind and ensure that you arrive closer to 2:30PM when check-in takes place.
Incredible location, size and quality of accommodation for its very reasonable price. Rooms are of a very generous size and the standout is really the positioning, directly across from the Cathedral of Granada as well as most of Granada's top attractions. I would strongly advise such an apartment to families looking to spend a few days or up to a week in Granada, you will be more than comfortable.

United States of AmericaLocation is not great when traveling with a vehicle. The city becomes a maze since they close streets, so reaching the apartment is extremely difficult with a car. The parking situation is also difficult because you need to make a reservation in the parking structure they recommend to park. The parking structure will not let you park without a reservation.
The location is great if you are traveling without a vehicle. Very central location to the alhambra and Albaicin. Walking distance to everything and close to all the bus stops.

SpainThere were not enough towels (4 for 6 guests), not enough toilet paper, and barely any bathroom supplies (the shampoo and shower gel was in these sample-sized packets).
The location was perfect, the beds were comfortable and there was sufficient heating.

South AfricaThe keycode is sent via email 1 hour prior to check in and due to us travelling from overseas this made it quite challenging to get wifi specifically at this time prior to check in. When we struggled to get the code and tried to contact the hosts telephonically, no one answered. I also enquired about parking information, as the check in information was sent in Spanish, and they were quite abrupt in their response. The lobby and stairs to the apartment were filthy dirty and had hairs floating around and the apartment needed a lot of upkeep. One of the cupboard handles was missing, the shower door didn't close, and the shower window was unhinged and if it fell on someone could cause a serious injury, The apartment is above a restaurant that starts service very early in the morning, so with an already noisy location and people in the streets partying all night, you are further woken by the restaurant prep of the day in the early morning hours.
The apartment space is generous and it's quite a large flat. There is a lift which makes getting luggage into the apartment easier. The kitchen is very well equipped and overall the apartment is modern, with extra touches such as a towel heating rack, with the location of the apartment being very central and really close to the main hub of Granada.

United States of AmericaYou are asked to remove all the trash from the apartment before you depart. The instruction tells you to take the trash out, but it doesn’t tell you where to take it. My husband walked around the building two times looking for garbage disposal. He didn’t find it. We ended up putting trash in a public street trash barrels.
This apartment has perfect location.

United KingdomWiFi and TV did not work, and hosts did not respond to fix it. Would have been good to receive more obvious instructions on check in (you get a text 30 mins before confirming room and code etc). Not a problem bur beware there is no staff present on site.
The location is fantastic both for airport transfer and for exploring the city. Views of the cathedral are great, and the light from the windows is lovely. Impressed by how the apartment blocks out sound from city below so well!

FranceStreets around very noisy at 3 or 4 am with homeless people screaming or fighting in streets Basic equipment in the apartment : no tea towel, no wine glasses, no coffee machine or kettle...In contrast of description there was a washing machine, which it is good, but no iron or ironing board so what's the point? Once again during our trip in Andalusia, check in instructions not very clear and they were not sent to us for technical reasons apparently so we had to call the host. Thanks we were able to speak together. But we had the risk to stay outside with our luggage. Car parking was incredibly dear (€81 for 3 nights, the dearest price ever paid) while it was supposed that property had an agreement with car-park company. I suggest hosts to negotiate again with a car-park company, especially as they own a few apartments (at least 10) in the same building
Location very close of monuments, shopping and bars-restaurants area The price (only €250 for 3 nights) Good side accommodation for 2 guests (we rented apartment with 1 bdr)

GibraltarThere is a washing machine, but no iron. No corkscrew and wine glasses. Saturday night is not the best time to stay at this apartment, people screaming and having parties around the place and you can hear everything. Wi-fi is not great. The apartment is not very clean and the furniture has plenty of stains on it. I paid cleaning fee, but they also asked me to clean the kitchen, wash the dishes and remove all the garbage bags...
Location is the best you can find at Granada!! And the view is unbelievable. Very easy check in and check out. Very nice small kitchen. Lots of shops and cafes around the property, even a small supermarket.
