Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It wasn’t so clean, the conditions were poor. It worth the money just for the good location and the cheap price

Arrange check-in in advance as the reception is not always available.
It's rather old hotel that could use some renovation. However, the rooms are specious and beds comfortable. I had a room with a nice view onto the street facing to the west. Good wifi. It's located on uphill but nothing strenuous. Still very close to the main square.

Location is bit off and on steep hill, but its okay if you are okay with some exercise. Bathroom renovated hastily and bad taste.
Its very good value if you can get a discount, but i would never pay the full price. Some big rooms and clean enough.

Disadvantages: - small fridge (for beer or cola) and basic coffee machine for capsules would be very useful.
Advantages: - excellent location (close to main bus station and ocean promenade), - cleaned everyday, - balcony with nive view, - safe area, - good wifi, - polite hotel staff.

The hotel did exactly what it said on the tin.
This hotel is centrally located not far from the heart of puerto. Rooms are basic but clean and well appointed. We didnt have a sun facing balcony which would have been an extra bonus. There is a microwave and a fridge in the lobby. No cooking facilities or food provided.

Reception is always empty. Had to call when I wanted to check-in. Had to call again for the check-out and I was supposed to just leave the keys at the front desk.

Not a lot. Its an authentic classic hotel .
The price is good . The location Is excellent . 5 minutes from the town . Its an old hotel . And the decor is the same . There is still..an old exchange system in the foyer which gives it character I think . When you saw the staff always polite . You get 2 keys . Because if the hotel is full they lock the front door . 300meg internet . Room service or half board available if you want it for around 15 euro a day from its modern sister hotel which is a short walk away. This includes room service if you want it . I quite like the old world decor . I knew daily the maid came in made thr bed and mopped and ensured everything was in place . Old hotel . Authentic to the feel . Staff brilliant and by use of the intercom . Can talk to some one .

Our room was smelling like cigarettes (perhaps in the past it used to be allowed to smoke in the room) even our clothes in the luggage after the stay were smelling like cigarettes.
It is a basic Accomodarion, a bit up the hill but still very close from the city center.
