The only "disappointment" was the small window that faced a wall so the room was a bit dark unless I turned the lights on. This was not clear for me looking at the pictures for the room

The place is in a very good location near the city center. The hotel has one star, but I was really satisfied with it. The staff is friendly and helpful, although worth noting they are not at the hotel all the time, usually they come early in the morning and leave between 5 and 6 in the evening. I stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a lift I could use. The room was clean, I could also use household service and had enough space for just me. Breakfast was also included, but unfortunately I missed that when I booked so I only realized this on my last day...

Tiny improvements would be: a kettle in the room, a choice of pillows, more choice at breakfast - things ran out quite soon. You need to be aware that there’s nobody on reception after 18.00, which could be tricky for non-Spanish speakers as it means calling a telephone helpline for a digital code.

Excellent value in a brilliant location. My (small double) room was actually pretty spacious and even had a balcony. The room was well equipped and absolutely immaculately clean.

The room was a little small - not that it mattered too much as I was only in it to sleep. Breakfast was included but sadly a very poor one - also self service which no one told me - even thou there was staff there on the first day. On subsequent days I was the one who told guests that is was self service. I would suggest that they put up a very clear sign telling people so.

Christina at the front desk was wonderful. Her smile was like bringing sunshine into the room. Her greeting was wonderful and she was really helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy and thank goodness there was a lift for me to get up to the 2nd floor of the hotel. The location was wonderful - right within the walking part of the city - very easy access to everything central.

Bathroom and shower were extremely small. My partner is 6ft 2ins so struggled with space, but we were only there for 1 night stopover, so we managed. Could have done with some hooks on the wall on entering to hang coats on.

Location was excellent, 2 minute stroll to Astrazanares market and main street. Lots of cafes and bars around the area. About a 7 minute walk to Malaga Centro train station, great for easy access to and from the airport. Self service breakfast included which was a bonus, and served from 8 till 12, choice of toast, bread, yogurts, fruit and a good coffee machine. Staff had left water in the room also. Sockets next to the bed.

Directions on website were totally wrong. Ended up in completely opposite area & had to get a taxi to hotel (10 euros)

This hotel was very convenient to the city center and to the train and bus station.The rooms though small were very comfortable. Domnick at reception was a very friendly and likeable host and went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. I felt that overall it was very good value for the cost.

When we were there, reception closes at 7pm so if you arrive after this, you will be e-mailed an air-bnb style code to access the hotel and get your room key. The hotel will email you to pre-register and check in online in advance - because of the way the code is issued, we found out this is essential to do. However we were not aware of the process to get your code until we received the email about an hour before we arrived so this confused us a bit. We also had no toilet paper in our room when we arrived but reception is closed so we popped out to buy some. However be assured that although reception is closed, once you have your code and room key, you can access the hotel 24hrs a day.

A really cozy, comfortable, compact and clean hotel right in the centre of the old town in Malaga. The guy on reception is super friendly. Our room had a nice little balcony onto the street which was nice to have some breakfast and late night chill on. We are regular visitors to Malaga and will look to book this hotel again.

It was a little noisy at night but it’s what you expect for a central location

I booked this place last minute and got my room for €50. Obviously this is a one star hotel so my expectations were low, but they were dramatically exceeded. The bed was so comfortable, the staff super friendly, the location so central. The best €50 you can spend in Malaga. Damien on reception was so chatty and helpful

you have to accept that outside the hotel will be noisy in the early morning as its a city centre location. Waste collection etc..

We have no complains

The receptionist, Damien, is among the most forthcoming and helpful we have ever experienced. Carrying luggage, printing out papers we needed, and helping out with other of our small problems. Made us feel so welcome! Very professional and such a relief to meet a person speaking fluently english in Spain!

nothing really, aah, weather, was a bit cold…!

Free Breakfast. The room was so cosy and the bed the right feel. It was warm despite being cold outside. The breakfast was nice., there was apples, bananas, croissants and different pastries, toast and jams, honey, pate, yoghurt, and good coffee from the machines, a mousseur provided frothy milk for a good capuccino. Lovely!. The location was perfect, next to Atarazanas, buses, constitution square, calle Larios, can’t complain… bus stops around the corner, and a walkable 8 minutes to Corte Ingles, followed by Centro Commercial Larios, and Maria Zambrano centre itself,… all by foot! The hightlight was the very personal service of my favourite person., that is Christina, who was great company and exceeded all my requests. It was a bonus to have her smiley friendly persona. I will be back!

Location right in historic centre, huge choice of bars and restaurants close by, cathedral and waterfront in easy walking distance. Receptionist so friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast buffet.
