To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We booked the Madrid Alameda Aeropuerto since we had a long layover after a night flight to Madrid. The free hotel shuttle service from and to the airport was very efficient. The vending machines in the lobby were useful as we checked in after midnight, and all restaurants in the area were closed.

The hotel's convenient location, just a brief 10-minute walk from the metro station, made commuting hassle-free. Even during nighttime, the surrounding area felt secure for leisurely strolls. While the room boasted ample space and cleanliness, the facilities appeared slightly dated. Nonetheless, the breakfast offered was satisfying, although it could benefit from a bit more variety.

It is ok, old decor, but clean and quiet room, spacious bathroom, minibar, no coffe/tee facilities in the room. (There's a coffe machine in the lobby.) very convenient for an overnight stay especially if you have an early flight next morning, free airport shuttle is a great bonus! (10 min to the airport).

Conveniently located near the airport with free shuttle service. Room was spatious and clean. Unfortunately air con was not working, which made the temperature in the room a bit too warm, other than this it was quiet and had very comfortable bed. Really nice breakfast and very kind staff.
