The host is amazing, she cooked breakfast for me the night before departing because I'd be leaving early. The location is excellent if you are using the train, it's within walking distance from the station.

The location was very close to the railway station which was very convenient and a 20 minute walk into the centre. A small kitchen that guest could use was great. Rooms were a good size but beds on the older soft side. Great ensuite with excellent hot water.

The only thing we have to point out is the cold that comes in through the window, it is not well sealed (we were in Rovaniemi at a very cold time), we had a second heating system in the room because the central heating was not enough to overcome the cold that comes in through the window (we weren't cold, but it's not a very efficient or sustainable solution either). We also had to place the decorative bed blankets on the window sill to reduce the cold from entering.

The location near the train station was excellent for us. All the staff were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. Despite being an old building, it is very well maintained and is impeccably clean. The common kitchen was always impeccably clean and tidy, making us feel at home. The breakfast was also good. If we return to Rovaniemi we will stay here again.

There is no hairdryer, the kitchen (including the microwave) is not available after 9pm, and there is no refrigerator in the room (although it is cold enough outside- refrigerator of nature)

The room was very warm when the outdoor temperature was -4 degrees, the bed was very comfortable, and the microwave was very convenient for heating food. The Rovaniemi posters and paintings of dogs and reindeer in the corridor are lovely.

We came by car and for us the position was not the greatest (somehow in the suburbs). The room was quite small with not that many facilities. The bathroom door was barely closing and there was no privacy for the person who was in the bathroom. The shower head had a problem and during showers you had to hold the knob to have water running through it. Overall, some investments need to be done to modernize or at least to fix what was used over the years.

The breakfast could be improved with more variety. The location is far from the city center and about 20 to 25mins walk away from the guest house. It is challenging when the weather is so cold and snowing.

The best thing is the shower room equipped with floor heating. Not sure if this is common in Rovaniemi but it is the most impressive of this guest house.

I'm not a picky person so if it's warm, clean, I have a hot shower and a somehow a comfy bed in which to crash...then everything it's fine. I've had all the aforementioned at the location so nothing is wrong.

The location is right next to railway station - its very easy to reach within walking distance even on -18 Celsius :) Also very warm (in terms of actual indoor temperature) and cosy (in term of feelings). As a side note I have to mention the helpful staff when I announce them that I've left a personal item and they search for it (and found it) and I expect to receive it by mail.

It was a little bit difficult to lock and open the door to the room. There is no chance to use kitchen after check out.

Guesthouse is located 5 minutes from the Railway Station and 10 minutes from the Bus Station in Rovaniemi. Just around the corner are shops. City center is situated 20 minutes from the guesthouse. Staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfest was very tasty and various. There is a possibility to leave your luggages after check out. I highly recommend it.
