“Breakfast was as expected. The evening meal was better than expected. We liked the little extras, lovely bread and olives and the after dinner chocolates were delicious. We appreciated the fires even though it was June.”
“We were so happy with our stay. The area is stunning and so peaceful. The house is beautiful with an incredible view of the sheep and their baby lambs (not to mention the stunning mountains). Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable and the host left us a little hamper.
Also, about a 10 minute drive from Keswick and a small walk to a lovely hotel where you can have coffee and drinks. My partner and I also did Scaffel Pike. We started from Seathwaite which was about a 10 minute drive as well. Overall, really enjoyable stay.”
