Ceiling fan was not effective and when in use the light remained faintly on. Would be better to provide a freestanding fan for summer months.

Good location, 10 mins walk to three different metro stations.

Shower room/toilet was tiny - not like the photos. There was an awful smell in the shower room and we had to be moved. That room was better, but still tiny. Carpets felt dirty.. Breakfast felt like a conveyor belt, and cramped Woodlice in bathroom

Had shops nearby. Relatively close to tube stations

Rooms are located in different houses, so our experience might differ from the other places. In all fairness the houses and rooms are not the most modern, but they are clean and adequate for their goal (having a good night sleep in London). They're not very large and I felt the bathroom could need a bit of an update (water of the shower drained slowly). Since you 'share' the house with other guests it also depends on others if there's a lot of noise (The rooms aren't super wel isolated) Luckily, we didn't had that problem, and I assume there's a way to complain if there would be. In short: If you are planning to spend a lot of time in your room then this hotel might not be the best choice, but why would you when you are in London ;)

Overall good value for money. The hotel is very well located (especially if you have a focus on west and central London) and the area feels (very) safe. Rooms are in different houses (located next to each other at the same street) giving it a bit of an apartment feel. Breakfast is included, and while it's no 'Hilton-style breakfast' buffet it's adequate and well organised. It's more akin to a breakfast you would have at home (coffee/ tea, toast, bread and some yoghurt), in other words: more than sufficient to get you going for the day. Staff is working hard and friendly. Rooms where cleaned each day.

Smelly room- like poop when I came in, open window helped a little, think it might be the drainpipes though, was bearable No second towel, the guy said 1 towel pp policy so no towel for getting out of shower, hands, etc. but if you know beforehand, you can take one from home I could ignore the facts above but what I found disrespectful and quite impolite was: I am vegan, I do not mission anyone or expect places to provide vegan stuff without knowing beforehand. Therefore I asked before my trip if there'd be vegan options for breakfast. Reply was it may be provided. I was grateful and planned my day (had appointments) with having breakfast at the hotel. Otherwise I would have planned otherwise. At breakfast, there were no real options but tasteless clementines and some vegetables. At that point- still kindly- asked, they said no options. I also said that I paid for included breakfast. They sent me to the reception. Went there, told them about the email- the woman just said in a snappy voice "bread is vegan [don't think this one was], fruit is vegan" man in corner said "cucumber and tomatoes are vegan", I said "seriously?" and off I went not even bothering to ask again on Sunday. This is TRULY NOT about not having the options after all but about the way of communicating with me and the ignorance I felt when I asked at reception.

great location own bathroom luggage storage before check- in time easy check- in

4th floor room. Warm room but window opened which made it noisy cos of busy road, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

So far found reviews poor for my budget stays along shepherd's Bush Road. These are BUDGET hotels in an expensive part of London. My single room was small (obviously), ensure and shower were good, room was clean and cleaned daily, with clean towel. Couldn't expect any more. Probably worth 8/10 but got a bit fed up of walking to the 4th floor 😀

In the bathroom of our room was water pooling under the tiles and each step on the tiles made water come up from the floor. which lead to a constant wet bathroom floor.

The location was good. It was like a 10 minute walk to the next underground station and there was a bus station directly in front of the entrance. It took just 20-30 minutes to be in the heart of London.

too small bed for two persons, no bedside tables. In bathroom no hooks for towels for 2 persons, just a small towel dryer radiator, no storage space for bath bags

Location good, approx. middle between heathrow and downtown London. Many shops (Shopping mall Westfield 12 min walk) and restaurants in short distance. Room large and clean, nice and clean bath

The staff weren’t particularly welcoming and almost borderline rude. The cleanliness was not good. Squished mosquitoes on the walls and very old and used furniture. The shower didn’t drain fast and you had to turn it off to allow it to after just a few minutes. I had to do my hair wash in two attempts.

Great location. About 10 minutes away from the tube station and down a busy street, with plenty of options for food and drinks. For the money for pretty much central London, it was good value if you’re prepared for basic. The breakfast which was included was ok, nothing too special and in a very small space for the amount of people. Don’t think I’d of paid extra for it. We were able to leave our bags but couldn’t check in even 20 mins early.

Only one towel per guest given, could've used a hand towel. No hooks for towels or shelf for bath products in the bathroom.

Great location, basic room. Good for short stay. No noises from other rooms. We had a room towards the back so can't comment on the traffic noise from the street.
