Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe decor could do with a revamp. Window locks broken and therefore not closing the world out, sirens etc The lack of food facilities but I did know that on booking but thought supermarket would be in easy reach?
The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was ok, although the shower wasn’t a trickle!! Sky tv gave easy viewing. Reception beautifully clean and comfy, reception staff extremely helpful and allowed my case to be put away even though i hadn’t checked in for another few hours.

United KingdomThe hotel is on a main road and the windows did not shut properly so it was very busy all night, bring ear plugs! There were signs of damp and mould in the bathroon and the wardrobe.
This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It was close to the venue we were visiting and was perfectly reasonable accomation to put your head down for the night

United KingdomElectrical socket held on with tape,only half lights in room working, toilet seat loose so changed room and that had a loose toilet seat, broken shower head holder and radiator wasn't working and we needed staff to get us into room as door temperamental!!!! Whole place would benefit from a good maintenance team.

The tap on the bathroom was making a funny noise so we had to twist it to stop the pipes from making the noise al night room 124 , hopefully they get that fixed , but other than that hot water fine , bed comfortable and TV was good enough 👍🏼

United KingdomThe room could have been cleaner. The bathroom was tiny and not in a good state of repair. Tiles coming off the wall, stained grout everywhere and the toilet seat moved all the time. Currently it is stuck on with what looks like a 3D picture hanging square. The shower needed the middle knob pulled up between the taps to work, that wouldn't stay up, but we got clean feet! The bedside light didn't work and despite reporting this it was not fixed, although apparently an electrician came and looked at it. I hope they didn't pay for the service! The last morning there was no hot water. I think our car had better accommodation. The heating was overbearing and we were unable to turn it down. On opening the window it nearly detached itself from the frame. Very shabby hotel in dire need of some TLC.
Location is brilliant for what we wanted to do. Close to train and buses for easy access to most areas. The price was reasonable for London for that amount of time. We stayed for 3 nights.

GermanyIt is an old dirty building, the floors and walls are dirty. The windows and bathroom walls are moldy. There are many broken things: doors, hangers the bathroom sink. We didn’t take off our shoes in the bedroom because the floor was dirty. The bathroom has a higher bathtub which is dangerous, my mom slipped hurting her arm and back, it is really hard to get out of it and there is nothing to hold from.
The location is great, easy access to metro stations and bus stops. The bed and towels were clean. Surrounded by nice restaurants and supermarkets. It is an affordable place that provides you privacy and comfort. The room had a water kettle, tea and coffee. The bed and pillows were comfy
