We were on a two night stay in Leeds to go to a concert . We were on a two night stay Hotel was fabulous, beautiful old character hotel, room and bathroom was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean. excellent location to all areas of Leeds and train station Staff were friendly attentive and welcoming nothing was any trouble for them. Breakfast was great too. Room was a bit too hot but I guess that’s better than too cold.

The hotel is ideally located for the train station and the city. It was extremely quiet for a city centre hotel. The room was a great size and very comfortable. Breakfast was fine with hot options ordered from a menu then cooked to order. We particularly enjoyed this, often items have been sat on a buffet table for too long. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was too hot in the bedroom, the bed wasn’t comfortable and the pillows were very soft to the point of hardly being there. We paid £179 but the bed was better at the premier inn.

The location was great and the hotel was well decorated and clean.

Check in was strictly at 3. We arrived at 2.45 and had a reservation at 3 at a nearby restaurant and we were not allowed to have entry to our room so had to freshen up in the corridor and leave our bags until later. No where to change near the bathroom/reception area.

Our room (when we finally got to it due to strict/rigid check in times) was really big, beautiful and cosy at the same time.

Staff were amazing , receptionists were so helpful , breakfast staff couldn’t do enough and the room was cleaned really well :-) breakfast was a great selection, hotel itself is a wonder , so many interesting areas and close to centre.

Was disappointed that although the details say parking there are actually only 7 spaces .. which you have to pay for. You can get a discount at local multi storey but have to drive 2 miles to get to it, so it took ages to check in and it was cold and rainy.

Beautiful hotel, with a very 1950s ambiance. Bar is open till 5AM so excellent for late night working/after dinner coffee. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Staff attentive and kind. Opposite train station and spotlessly clean.

Parking was difficult ( 12 mins drive around the roadworks of leeds - only 5min walk ) my suggestion would be bigger discount on the parking overnight offsite eg 50% compared to what it costs for parking at the hotel which is a tiny parking area

A bit of a faff with room needing £50 holding fee and room needed to be checked before we left but I understand people may make a mess or use mini bar wouldn’t stop me staying again
