The Hotel was booked out and the boss took me to a house in a caravan park about 5 minutes drive away. It was a basic house with nothing fancy about it. I would have preferred to stay at the Hotel. I had to drive back to the Hotel the next morning for breakfast.

The only thing I liked was that the boss got alternative accommodation for me, which ended up quite pricey.

Shower was a little wonky and did not work 100%, but i was greatful the water came out, it was just in the very hot side of thr temp.

Breakfast was freshly prepared and cooked. An amazing variety of cereals, fruit and a full english breakfast. Staff where very friendly, brought tea and freshly made toast to the table. Room was great. Pleasantly surprised, I would def go back. The view of the ocean was an added bonus.

Room was very warm, had to leave the window open all night. RNLI rescue helicopter hovering above the hotel for a couple of hours between 2.30 and 4.30am. Just unlucky it happened while we were there.

Tired looking facilities. Dusty and a little grubby. Breakfast was disappointing, bacon looked like it was boiled with the rind being inedible. Beans were luke warm also.

Location is great as it's right on the seafront in Aberystwyth, just 30 minutes away from Machynlleth for the comedy festival. Yoghurt options at breakfast were decent.

Can be difficult to find a parking space. Also you have to go down steep stairs to the breakfast room.

Stayed at this hotel previously, but it has since been refurbished. Room was light and comfortable. Views of the sea and only a short walk to the centre of town. Breakfast was good and all the staff were very cheerful.

Very good location. We had a view room overlooking the ocean and could easily walk to the town. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of everything.

More choice for breakfast.

Location good. Staff helpful. Dogs were welcome. We had booked an overnight stay some weeks before but were unable to attend. I asked if it was possible to cancel but was told it had to be done 48 hours before booking. Fair enough but that was not pointed out when I booked. When I checked my bank account I had been charged for 2 nights not 1!!! My husband spoke to the manager/owner who said he would look into it but so far no refund.

The stairs has the lift didn't work and struggled bit has wife gets short of breath after Hart attack and few bulbs missing in lights

Breakfast didn't seem to have enough food out. Staff were never about to meet you had to wait to see someone to ask for tea/coffee but they were pleasant maybe understaffed?

Lift was scary and stopped whilst my husband was using it. There were a lot of stairs. Our room had a faulty toilet so we had to move to a different one.

Very loud outside the room late into the night and the room had no signal The lift is abit scary as it seems old but that's more a fear of mine then anything

The mattress was poor quality and had more dips than a rollercoaster. We had to put a blanket on top but it didn't really work. I asked for a double but I think we got a compact.
