Noise from car park early in morning

The Room was basic but the bathroom was Very clean The room I had was basic and next to the Bar so it was noisy until 11pm The Staff told me this when I checked in which helped, My friend stayed in a house next to and part of the Hotel and had no noise All staff were kind and helpful with everything , The hotel is undergoing building work but was not noticeable

The hotel is currently covered in scaffolding and is definitely looking and feeling rather tired.

My 'riverside suite' was comfortable and very generous in size.

first impression was terrible with scaffolding everywhere. I think the cleaning staff do there best trying to keep such an run down property looking good. It’s a little gem of a place if it had some money spent on it. Having to show ID is something I’ve never had to do in this country before.

The staff were lovely, the view of the Thames, food was good.

Work is clearly underway on the outside of the hotel building but if you look beyond that the hotel lovely and good value for money x

The property is in urgent need of redecoration. There was a panel that was smashed and boarded up for the duration of our stay with no obvious work being carried out. There was broken glass on both landings where someone had obviously dropped bottles and that was a hazard.the curtains had massive holes in the blackout curtain part and were heavily stained.

It was near the river, and there was quite a few things to do

When we arrived there was no one at the desk and I had to go to the bar to find them. The bottom floor is damp and smells mouldy. The staff member at checkout timewas dismissive about the issue. The room needs some work, the back door is cracked, the floor is grubby and uneven (probably due to the damp). It seems rundown

Now where to hang towel in bathroom Heater didn’t seem to have any controls - but didn’t need it so didn’t effect my stay Room needed another chair for use at the desk.

Bathroom was a mess, floor over there looked like it would have mold on it. Water came all over the floor, when taking a shower and it was impossible to dry it up.

Clean sheets and towels, hot water. Friendly and helpful staff.

Evening menu was limited & quality was poor. Booked breakfast for the first morning, chef was late, so I had to miss it due to needing to be at work. Second day went down for breakfast, no chef & nobody on reception, so missed again. Finally after complaining again, the third morning I actually got breakfast on time, was it worth the wait, NO. One sausage, one rasher of bacon, one hash brown, one mushroom, beans & tomato.

Being in the cottage room which was not the same as In the picture. All I heard was the door banging all day and night ppl in and out made my anxiety go through the roof.

The floor of the hotel room was wood but not varnished so could not wear white socks as there were bits on the floor. I stayed in a room that was right next to the kitchen, so the shouting at each other and this could be heard clearly through the door. You could also hear the passing door open and close frequently. This went on until approximately 10:30pm. People were continuously walking straight past my door and this made me feel a little uncomfortable. The free wifi is terrible. it would not load videos on youtube so barely loaded web pages, as I was travelling for work, this was quite inconvenient.

The room was well presented. The bathroom was private. There were washing materials at the facility that I could use.
