Our room was at front of property so road noise was a bit of an issue

Location was great for our venue (Cambridge Junction). For exploring Cambridge it is a short bus/car ride to the centre.

The breakfast was not very nice. The bacon was hard and tasteless.

Everything was amazing! Room was clean and spacious with lovely smelling fresh soft towels. The staff were so welcoming and hospitable. Would highly recommend.

It was a bit cold and only one of the heaters was working properly which was not enough to heat up the room.

The room was nice and clean with plenty of space. The pub below has a really good atmosphere and very tasty food.

The room was a little tired and in need of improvement, though overall it was comfortable. It was right above the pub and looked out onto the main road junction, so quite noisy. The check-in process wasn't brilliant - staff could have been a little friendlier and more welcoming.

Excellent location for Cambridge, close to the city and the station. Also very convenient for us getting to work. Good sized room with large comfortable bed. Parking and WiFi included. A competitive price for the location.

Large, Clean and tidy room. Lovely comfortable bed and good facilities / bathroom etc. Served quickly in the bar, no long waits. Parking included. A few extra mins given at checkout.

The room decor was tired (some might say run down) and not the cleanest that I have seen. But it was OK.

Hotel, with parking, within walking distance of Cambridge city centre at a sensible price. There are lots of room options, so was able to get a triple for myself and two children. Breakfast was good value.

Pub directly below bedrooms so quite noisy. We were made aware so took ear plugs and slept just fine. But might put others off.

Easy to park and short walk into the town center. Helpful staff.

Unfortunately we had the rooms with windows looking out to Hills Road which is pretty noisy in the mornings. Think they have more accommodation at the back in the car park area which would have had less traffic noise.

Amazing pub & absolutely lovely staff who could not have been more friendly, chatty, helpful & welcoming. Good food & drinks menu too. Location is spot on. Lovely additions - Tea/coffee/biscuits/sweets. Showers were great! When we come back to UK/Cambridge, we'll prob be staying here again.

Nothing really, the room was a little chilly when we first got in but soon warmed up once we put the heater on.

Very good place to stay. Staff friendly, room was good and not noisy like other reviews had said. Would recommend as long as you're happy being a bit out of the centre. Definitely can't complain for the price!

1. Told info sheet with WiFi password in room , it wasn’t and I had an immediate meeting , had to use phone . 2. Room was very tired and poor workmanship in bathroom felt grubby but was clean 3. Towels hard and smelled musty 4. Wasn’t told pub would be closed and how to get in . Couldn’t find a door to put key in and no one answered tel number supplied , finally got in when another resident appeared . 5. Noisy from 6.30 am with some Beer deliveries and road noise .

Tiny defect, no bedside light for middle bed.

The room for three had three decent beds - none of them were pullouts or sofabeds, but proper comfort. Also, the staff happily agreed to let us leave our luggage with them after we checked out, so we could sightsee unencumbered until it was time for our train: this may seem normal, but the central Cambridge hotels we looked at all refused!
