It would be nice if they did breakfasts too but as stated there is a very good café just up the road.

Owner was very friendly. There was room in the street to park our car (just! :) and we were right by the bus stop, where the regular Nr 9 bus service took us into the city centre. Our room was not 'en suite' but we knew this beforehand. Each day we had a lovely breakfast at the Black and White café up the road.

The bathrooms cleanliness was mid, the problem with shared bathrooms and not the fault of the owners. the floors were a bit dirty, which is a common problem with wooden floors as the dirt hides between the boards so got dirty feet. considered using the kettle but opened it and the smell was terrible water had clearly been left to stagnate at some point and it wasn't cleaned.

I really liked the comfort levels of the bed. the chandaler was cute for a couples room. bed was a good size. close to the shops which was good as food is not offered on site but there were microwaves provided in the rooms and the said we could ask for plates/cutlery.

The location wasn't great, with lots of drunk people shouting outside in the middle of the night.

The room was comfortable, although it was very hot and there was no air conditioning and we didn't discover the fan until the next day.

The dust in the room, corridors were smelly, the towels also smell as they haven’t been dried properly, the room’s door rubs near the top or drags on the floor, so was difficult and noisy to open/close. Room and the building still need TLC!

The view from the window, however that is out of owners control due to buildings that back onto theirs. Told on arrival that no breakfast was available however there is a cafe a short walk away. Unsure is this a permanent thing as it is a B&B.

The location. Very central and within walking distance of town and bay. I had the en suite room and although the interior is a little dated the bed linen and bed covers etc were spotless and the bed very comfortable. Great nights sleep and as on the back of the property no noise from the road. Plenty of free on street parking.

Cleanliness not great in room - dusty in some places and bathroom towel rail rusting. Bedside lamps need pearl bulbs as light bulbs far too bright. Bathroom in Harlech room has heavy wooden sliding door right next to bed that leaves a crack so privacy is not 100%. Metal bed frame loudly squeaked and groaned during any physical movement such as turning over. Some peeling wallpaper. Generally a little run down and shabby when a little TLC would transform the place reasonably cheaply and easily.

Good location for Cardiff Centre. Free on-street parking. Helpful and friendly staff with efficient and smooth check-in. Extremely comfortable mattress on bed. Good price per night in comparison with similar venues in the area.

Very small room, a bit noisy during the night... ( We heard every step in other rooms, also some noise maybe from the neighbours?) There is a sliding door to the bathroom, which does not close all the way... there was a gap that was very uncomfortable when you wanted privacy in the bathroom. If you travel alone, it is fine. Not very clean bathroom, there was even mold in some places.

Good location with everything we needed, very kind staff.

Sadly, the location of a shared washroom was next to our room. Not a massive problem but as I’m a light sleeper, any time it was used, in the night or early morning, I was awoken. Just unfortunate. Also, I think there may have been a boxed in boiler or main pipes in our room, so whenever another bathroom was used, the sound in our room of the pipes, seemed magnified. Also, the decor is very “tired” and in desperate need of refreshing. I completely appreciate these guys are still recovering from the devastation of covid and revamping decor is a pricey business, they do however, absolutely allow for this in their nightly rate. My humble suggestion would be to at least invest in some new pillows and bedding overall.

The location was perfect for us, as we like to walk and it’s about 15 minutes into the city centre. The room was clean, of an adaquate size, with a very convenient en-suite. The hosts couldn’t do enough for you and we’re very knowledgeable about the area. They were always contactable for any help you may need. Tea and coffee facilities were available and a very welcomed bottle of fresh water to drink in the room.

Dated TV’s, room wasn’t particularly clean plenty of dust under bed, lights hanging in bathroom and boiler for hotel based in room 1. No breakfast anymore and while there technically is plenty of parking available there is no dedicated spaces for Ty Rosa so finding a space maybe a fair bit up or down the road.

Cheap considering that the city centre isn’t to far away. Free WiFi, hosts friendly and have enough information about hotel and local area on arrival.
