Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaKalpic studio was a jewel of a find! After traveling many days and staying in cities this was a welcome relief! It was so close to Krka NP and after a day of hiking a jump in the pool was very refreshing! This place felt like home. It is a little out of the way but that is what makes it so special!

GermanyFor breakfast there was only either mocha or Nescafé. Unfortunately, no other coffee. ( But everyone has their own coffee habit:-) In the evening you have to drive a few kilometres to have dinner.
We received a very friendly welcome and Ana is a great hostess. The courtyard has been lovingly and attractively decorated. You can have a good breakfast, but you have to pay an extra 15 euros per person for breakfast.

United KingdomThe dogs at a neighbouring farm were barking a lot at night. However, we realise this is not the b& B's fault and it would not stop us staying there.
Very friendly staff who gave good advice on trips and restaurants in the area. Good breakfast every morning with different dishes. The konoba campanella is a very good restaurant and not too far away from the b&b. Highly recommend. The vegetarian chef's menu was very good. O

United KingdomWe loved our room with a comfortable balcony to sit and chill on. The service and staff excelled themselves. The breakfast is as good as the reviews state. We stopped here for only 1 journey on our road trip through Croatia but easily could have stayed longer.

FranceAbsolutely nothing apart from our stay here being too short.
We needed a relaxing day in the middle of nowhere away from the noise and the city and close to the Krka NP, and quite frankly we found exactly what we wanted. The garden was beautifully maintained, our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fresh and hearty which set us up perfectly for our long day ahead. The Kalpic family has been nothing but welcoming and friendly. We would 100% recommend staying here.

DenmarkNothing to remark - this place exceeded our expectations 👌
Ivana and her family are the greatest and sweetest hosts. They care so much about this place, which is felt from the moment you enter. Really authentic and great experience! Top value for money, don’t miss out on the breakfast which is extremely delicious and varied every morning. Everything is clean, everything you need is here. Amazing location if you’re ready to explore nature sites of Croatia. We extended our stay with 2 nights as we just loved it here 🙏

AustriaThis place is just perfect! Beautiful and quiet! You can see the love they put into everything: the houses, the rooms and especially the breakfast buffet (which is AMAZING!). Their homemade prosciutto and marmalade are very delicious! And of course everyone is very friendly :)

NetherlandsI read about this place in a blog and we decided to book. It was really more than we expected. It lies somewhere in the countryside and middle of nowhere which makes it a hidden gem. It is a place where you truly can relax and be at peace, we slept like babes during our whole stay. It’s ambiance creates a warm and save feeling with picturesque surrounding. But it still gives all the luxury you need with a swimming pool and jacuzzi. And then the breakfast needs a mention on its own; since it’s an eco farm, almost everything is homemade. Not only the amazing prosciutto but the bread, the jam, Annie’s bruschetta and yoghurt as well. So be sure to book the breakfast as well because this will make your stay memorable. On top of that there were excellent mountainbikes to use for everyone to explore the area. I started my morning with the sound of swallows, to the breakfast with my book and went on a cycling trip to nearby villages and almost ghost towns. The owner is a lovely and warm woman who is delighted to tell you about the history of the (family) farm and area. It is noticeable that this farm, which started as her father’s farm, is today a beautiful oase which is build through the years with a lot of blood, sweat and tears but also, still, with lots of love. Therefor I think it is definitely worth a visit. It is recommended to visit by car since it is so desolated but that is what gives it its charm.
