Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAnts… Also there was no recycling bin or bag and compost bin. There was a compost bin bags provided as well as for the general waste bin. We were woken up by very loud noise around 12:45am and apparently it was the rubbish collection outside.
Location, location and location! We found it hard to park our car driving from the airport. After failing to find any sign and going around and around in circles there was a message about the parking. The owner called me to explain but it was still challenging for me.😅

United KingdomThis apartment is in a great location and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The place has character in an old building and is clean, warm and comfortable. Lina was very good at answering questions and met us on time to let us in. You have to pay in cash, but this did not bother us. The parking was a huge plus. There is plenty of room behind the building, but make sure you drive into the pedestrian area where you get to the gate from the Branjugova end of the street.

HungaryWe required a crib and we didn't get it. It was not solved because there weren't any available.
It was in a very good location, and the apartment was good enough. We arrived sooner but it wasn't a problem we could have the apartment earlier. There were baby shower gels which was a good surprise.

United States of AmericaWe had some difficulties finding the parking entrance, but the host was super helpful in guiding us to the property via phone. We found street signs in Zagreb to be confusing, so perhaps a picture of the actual parking entrance and any photos of shops and signs right next to the entrance would be helpful. There are also many stairs you must climb to reach the studio. This wasn’t an issue for us, but could be for someone less ambulatory and packing heavy luggage.
I enjoyed how close all the cafes were - literally right outside the door. The area is close to all the sights in central Zagreb and you don’t need a car to see anything from this property.

SerbiaSqueaky bed in the bedroom, soundproof could be better so it gets a bit noisy from other apartments and the street and some darker window curtains or shades would be a nice addition as it gets a bit bright in the morning.
Lina was excellent host, very helpful and forthcoming, location is great, just 3 minutes walk from city center. Free private parking is a great addition and the reason why we booked this place. Apartment is a decent place to stay, cosy, moderately equipped, and with enough place for 3 people. Nice place for visit Zagreb city center.

RomaniaDon't count on car navigation (in our case Google Maps) to reach the appartment! It will leave you in a middle of a circulated road, pretty far from the location. Better call the host and ask for directions.
Location is great, close to city center. The apartment is very spacious, bed was comfortable. Host is always willing to help. A supermarket is very close, cafe and restaurants nearby. Free parking in inner courtyard is a plus.

United KingdomNot really a dislike but I think the apartment would be even more value for money with some minor upgrades especially to the bathroom and kitchen area which are both very dated.
An Excellent location with free and secure parking. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, it's located walking distance from most of the known attractions as well as lots of restaurants, bars and shops. It was exactly what we needed for our day stay in Zagreb.

United States of AmericaGood small apartment on a quiet street - looks like you can’t drive on the street, but you can - a bit confusing to get there, but once you find the spot, there is free parking inside an enclosed lot behind the apartment building. You need to contact the owner to have her let you in. The owner was friendly and helped us find the spot and get settled. This is a great location for wandering around the old town and the central square and is close to stores and cafes. We never used the car while in Zagreb - but walked a lot and took the trams to get a wider view of the city. It is very easy to navigate around the town on foot or by public transport, and there are a lot of beautiful buildings as well as nature to view. Just sitting in the Central Square watching the people and buildings was a pleasure. We especially enjoyed buying fruit and cheese from the local outdoor market in the morning. The room was quiet and comfortable and included a small kitchenette with stove top, kettle, and fridge - all that we needed. We would certainly recommend this apartment!

CanadaThe bathroom and kitchen is small and a little rough around the edges and could use some fixes/updating.
Excellent location. We loved the street and neighborhood surrounding the apartment. It is easy to walk all around Zagreb from here. The master bedroom is beautiful with lots of space, airy, comfy bed and old world charm. The kitchen is functional with all you need to self-cater. The parking spot was very convenient. The hosts live in the building so they are available and easy to connect with.
