Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The apartment was very comfortable, modern and elegant. We liked so much the terrace, very beautiful at the susnset. And the stairs with the bedroom above. He kitchen works well. The apartment is close to the center, to the bus stop and a good point as stop of organised tour. There is also a daily clean. The swimming pool was out of work but we knew it and there wasn't a problem. Above all the host Tea was great, she will sure take care of you during your holiday with attention and kindness

The only minus - was a bit of noisy air conditioning, which had to run all day and night in the peak of summer. Our stay was long, so we got used to it after 2-3 nights.
Perfect stay! Wonderful host, helpful, always available. Beautiful place, well-kept, great location. Market right next door, as well as bus stops to Old Town. We really want to come back!

Minor point, if you arrive by car, understand the parking procedures before arrival.
The Owner Manager is wonderful and has created wonderful accommodation. Excellent communication. Do not miss a visit to nearby Sunset Beach, an walk.

Location of the property is great. Everything is accessible by foot and it is situated very close to the supermarket. Parking is right by the house and easy to access. The host is amazing, always available and caring. Everything was perfect!

Fabulous time at Villa Aura, location is great for catching the bus to the old town only 10mins away . Our host was very attentive and give us some good tips about the local area. Right next to supermarket which was great to get fresh bread in the morning . Pool dip in the hottest part of the day was very refreshing , would definitely recommend

Very clean and lovely appartement. The pool is a nice addition to cool off a little during the day. Its about 20-30 minutes walking to old town, but close to the harbour for boat trips to other islands.

Wifi signal can be a bit slow in the particular room that we had booked
The location (everything is accessible by foot and it is situated very close to the supermarket), the lovely owners and the amazing swimming pool. The kitchen is a great plus, we really felt at home

Tea,our host, and all staff were fantastic. Immaculately clean and comfortable apartment. Tea made us feel so welcome and gave us lots of ideas for things to do. A tranquil and peaceful apartment yet in the heart of Dubrovnik. Would definitely recommend!
