Georgia is the most amazing person and host- she treated us like family. I cannot recommend staying here enough. The accomodation is perfect and she provides every single thing you could ever want. We were picked up and dropped off at the ferry and she provided great information about Hvar. Mornings we woke to a basket of wonderful fresh goodies.

This apartment was the best equipped of any we’ve ever stayed in with everything you could possibly need for a fabulous stay (there was even a comprehensive manicure set and foot massager!). The host, Georgia, was not only the most welcoming and helpful host we could imagine, she really went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. She collected us from Jelsa port on the other side of the island on a wet Sunday and insisted on dropping us off at the Hvar ferry port when we left. On the journey to Hvar Town, she gave us a few local tips and suggestions. The apartment is situated close to a lovely cove with a pleasant pebble beach (beach mats in apartment of course). Apart from the wonderful furnishings in the flat and pleasant sunny terrace with sun loungers, etc. , we arrived to find fresh bread and pastries on the table and a well stocked fridge and the most extensive range of hot drinks we’d seen. Georgia was awesome and absolutely the best possible host - thank you so much. The “complaints” book in the lounge was crammed full of glowing thanks and reviews so Georgia has clearly been the same with all her guests. Regrettably, we’d only factored in a very brief stay in Hvar which was a mistake but we will be returning and will definitely stay with Georgia who provided more fresh bread and pastries for breakfast and a few departure gifts. Absolutely great stay here with a host (Georgia) who couldn't do enough to help. Georgia met us off the ferry to drive to the apartments, which are great with balconies / terraces & lots of space inside too. The fridges, bathrooms etc. were fully stocked on arrival & fresh breakfast pastries & fruit each morning. The apartments were immaculately clean too & no negatives to speak of.

Property was perfect.

We are a retired couple who over the years have traveled the globe.We have stayed in a number of apartments/hotels around the world but this by far was one of the best we have stayed in anywhere.It was like staying in your own home.Georgia is one of the best host we have encountered,nothing was to much trouble from picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry.She offered to run us everywhere.The apartment was spotless and lacked nothing.If you are contemplating s trip to Hvar don’t look any further than this place ,you won’t regret it. No complaints whatsoever!

Amazing apartment with all the facilities available. Georgia the host, oh dear.. She's awesome. She's a local that knows all about Hvar and the history/mysteries about this beautiful Island. She makes herself available 24/7 and is always there to help with any queries and requests. The place was super clean and organized very quiet and safe area. She provided all sorts of supplies so we didn't have to worry about anything on our arrival. Very quiet road, perfect for a good night of sleep and the early risers. Ponlkonji dol Beach is pretty much on her back yard. Only 10 to 15 minutes hiking down to the beach. Very rocky walk. We did it wearing flipflops and we took our time.. nice and slow. Locals would run pass us.. 😅 Georgia was the kindest host we ever came across, we first booked her place based on previous reviews about her hospitality and we couldn't be happier about our decision, she picked us up at the port when we arrived and whenever we needed she would give us lifts to and from town. Also helped us making plans and giving us tips for best places to go and when. Where to have dinner where to have lunch always recomending things that the locals would do staying clear of the overpriced places. We loved it! Can't wait to go back Hvar and stay with her again!

The place was really spacious, with a nice balcony. But the biggest reason to choose Gabelic is for the host, Georgia the sweetest human being! A lot more was included than what can be written on booking! It was also near a beach (a steep walk, but then again, it's Croatia!) and was a very reasonable walking distance from the town center. Would recommend without hesitation!!

Nothing at all. We miss Hvar and our stay already.

Guys, don't think twice before booking this place. If I could give this apartmant more than a 10 rating, I would have definitely given that. You just need to come to Hvar, and Georgia (the host) will take care of everything. She is a superwoman and the sweetest person we have ever met. She will go beyond her way and make sure that you have the nicest time during your stay. Apartmant was quite big, very clean and beautiful and have everything you need. The kitchen was loaded with a lot of food and drinks and there is also a nice spacious terrace with sun beds. The location of the apartment is perfect, just 10-14min walk to the center and a 10-minute walk to Pokonji Dol Beach. She would also drive us to the center if we wanted. Every morning, a basket of fresh breakfast would come for you. She also gifted us souvenir from Hvar on the last day. The best part is she does all of this with such a warm smile and happiness. 💯 best apartment to stay in Hvar.

Apartment is located on a great location close to supermarket and Pokonji Dol beach. The kitchen is very well equipped with a lot of food. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is a nice spacious terrace with sun beds. The owner Georgia is the best host ever and every day she provided us delicious breakfast.

Georgia is the most kind, welcoming, generous and thoughtful person. We had delicious food bought for us, daily fresh breakfast left out for us and she was always ready to help with anything (like lifts into town, boat trips, midgy spray we didn’t have). We also got a leaving gift which was SO thoughtful and kind and a lovely way to remember the beautiful island of Hvar. The apartment was well stocked with everything you need- abundance of towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, toilet roll etc. The apartment was spotless and has a gorgeous balcony that gets the sun. Despite not being in the centre it’s a short walk down the hill or Georgia/ her son are always there to give a lift so it wasn’t a problem at all. 10 min walk from a beach and in a quiet neighbourhood- perfect! Would recommend all my family/ friends / anyone to stay here! The best and most welcoming holiday home I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you so much again Georgia for your amazing hospitality xxx

Everything was perfect!

Great location! Beautiful home! Clean apartment! Large private balcony patio with sun bathing chairs that over look the city. Georgia is like a bright ray of sunshine! ☀️She is the sweetest human being we have ever met in all our travels. Upon arrival, Georgia was so welcoming, friendly, and an attentive host! I was planning a proposal for my girlfriend, now fiancée and Georgia really went out of her way to make our engagement so memorable. She provided recommendations in securing a great photographer and videographer last minute, made our dinner reservations and getting us the best table at the most popular restaurant overlooking the sea, and she even baked a magnificent cake that was out of this world as it was so artistically decorated to the where the engagement happened. Georgia is an angel from heaven! We both love Georgia and absolutely enjoyed our stay in her beautiful home. We highly recommend to all our friends and family to stay at Georgia’s - 5 out of 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If we could give 6 stars, we definitely would. Georgia is the best!!!

It's difficult to find words to describe our staying here, but I have to say we felt like home. The apartment was perfect, all the facilities you can imagine. Very nice, very clean, close to Pokonji beach. And Georgia is the perfect host, she knows everything around the island, will help you with anything you need. If we ever visit Hvar again, there's no other place I would stay.

We enjoyed every moment spent there and we are so grateful to our hosts Giorgia and Ivan for their authentic hospitality, raising the standard of excellence beyond any expectations one can imagine.

I have no complaints about the property. It was a great value for everything you get and the owner is a local and gives great tips and is very helpful. It didn't affect me but if anyone has trouble walking there a few steps.

The breakfast was delivered fresh every morning and very tasty. Also the property owner was willing to fulfill any special requests. The refrigerator was stocked with additional food and drink. The apartment was nicely decorated and extremely clean. it had everything you might need including beach towels, umbrellas and even shampoo and soap (not all hosts in the country provide that.) The owner picked me up from the center of town and gave me a ride to the apartment and even gave me rides on other occasions. Georgia, as a lifelong local, had multiple great tips and advice which helped improve my stay and my vacation. She was very easy to communicate with at all hours. I really appreciated her and I think she set a very high bar for this industry.

Everything was perfect and beyond.

If I could give this apartman more than a 10 I would. Georgia was amazing, the best host we ever had and true example how you should run tourist business. Apartman was very clean and beautiful even better then the pictures and has everything you could possibly need. Location is perfect 10min walk to center and 10min walk to Pokonji dol beach and has a parking space attached to the apartment. The service we received here was better maybe than some hotels we stayed, when we go back to Hvar this is the place we are gone get back.

I didn’t want to leave!

The host, Georgia, was super nice and would do anything to make your stay perfect. she left beer, juice, chocolate, and more, more, more. she brought fresh breakfast bread every morning and left it in a basket right outside the door. My family had 2 apartments. Both were beautiful, had every possible thing you might need - beach towels, cooler, fully stocked kitchen, etc. It was very hot and the A/C worked great. Parking was right by the property. We could easily walk to town. I can not think of anything I would want that this place did not offer. We all loved our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

I LOVED everything! Georgia our fabulous host made our stay so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. We had fresh bread and croissants outside our door with a Good Morning note attached. We had freshly baked biscuits one evening. The apartment had everything you needed, and I mean everything! The fridge had water, beer, juice, cheese it was amazing. In fact it should say Breakfast included! We had a night in one night and Georgia ordered us a Pizza , the list of kindnesses goes on. We even got a present when we left :) I have been to many apartments in Europe over the last 8 years and I can say that this was the best place I have been.
