It was all good!!

Perfect. Hosts were very pleasant. Answered all our questions and pointed us in the right direction for the old town, food and scooter rentals. Bottle of water to greet us with.

The bikes available to borrow are mostly broken down so only useful for very short trips to beach or grocery. Not the right bikes to see the island.

The bedroom set up would be perfect for a couple or solo traveler planning to stay a few days. Fully equipped kitchen. Right near a bicycle rental store. Hostess was lovely.

Nice, small, well equipped apartment in a quiet neighborhood. We liked the balcony. Although we reserved a room without kitchen, the owner gave us one with kitchen for the same price. Kind reception by the owner. Good price for this expensive island.

Nothing! Everything was perfect

The guesthouse was in a great location that is easy walking distance to the main attractions including a gorgeous beach that has an amazing sunset. Our host was fantastic, she and her husband were so helpful with where to get off the bus and how to get to the guesthouse the quickest possible way - literally 100 m from the bus stop. There are beach towels and cushions, as well as bikes we were welcome to use while we were there. It was the perfect stay, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. We were just one night, so only had a double room which is fairly small but with a cute balcony and it was all that was required. Totally recommend this property for a nice quiet location, beautiful generous hosts and comfort. They were so kind helping us get to the Port and going over and above. We will definitely go back there for longer this time - maybe take the bigger apartment.

Our room was excellent. Very comfortable bed, plenty of space for the two of us, and we used the balcony for dining, and it was perfect. The room is very well equipped, and we had everything at our disposal. The owners are very kind and hospitable. Overall, a very nice impression and stay in the Stari Grad Hvar, we will come back here again for sure.

Everything was great

Maria was very welcoming and helpful. Accommodation is excellent, short walk to centre and bus stop to Hvar Town. Room great, comfy bed, table and chairs, great shower. Balcony with table and chairs. Selection of beach mats and towels and bikes. We cycled to Vrboska and Jesla. Washing machine - we put washing on and went out, returned to find it hanging up and dry. This really is an excellent place to stay.

Not a thing

I would give Maria 20 out of 10 if I could. She greeted us on arrival with a cold beer (oh, so welcomed in this heat) and showed us the apartment, which was absolutely spotless - Maria puts me to shame with her cleanliness. The apartment was equipped with everything a tourist may need, including such rarities as sharp knives, ice cubes in the freezer and enough power points to charge our multiple devices + towels to last us for a month. The sheets were crisp, the bed comfy and we had air-conditioning AND the fans. To top all this, on our fourth (and last) night she invited us to dinner with her family. We felt pampered and cherished and will never forget our stay in Stari Grad with Maria and Karl.

Rooms are a little dated but absolutely fine for dropping your stuff and exploring the beautiful town

Nice accommodation that is clean and comfortable. Close to Stari Grad centre which can be accessed from the Stari Grad port or by a bus from Hvar port on the other side of the island. Hosts were friendly and helpful

We were greeted on arrival by a really lovely lady!! She showed us our room and even gave us a bottle of sparkling water (we were very hot after walking from the ferry). She showed us on a map where everything was, and let us leave our bags there the next day after check out which we were very grateful for. We got to see the beautiful town, and even got to visit some neighbouring beaches via scooter which we hired from a place less than 2 mins walk away (a great recommendation from the host). There were also beach towels on offer and pads to take with you to the rocky beach. Highly recommend!!! Great spot and very comfy bed.

Only thing is without a car the property can be hard to get to if you are coming from hvar port, as most taxi drivers won’t drive from hvar to stari grad. This isn’t the fault of the owner just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling without a car

I couldn’t stay longer, absolutely no complaints.

Everything was perfect… I have absolutely no complaints and the couple that hosted us was simply fantastic, such great people and so friendly. I was sad to leave. I’ve been staying in a lot of hotels lately and they by far have been the best one. I will definitely go back!

The apartment is maybe a 10 minute walk from the waterfront shops, but it's an easy walk.

Loved all of the amenities in the apartment. A decent sized kitchen and lots of space. I was able to do laundry as well which I appreciated. Mariah was a very kind and attentive host. We rented bikes and we were able to store them in the bike rack out front

The apartment was a short walk from the main town (5 minutes). There is also a beach bar down the road with sun loungers right beside the sea where you could swim. The hosts have bikes that you can borrow and towels that you can take to the beach. If you wanted to go to the port it is very assessable by foot (depending on how much luggage you have) Our host was both helpful and friendly and I would have no problem recommending this place. It is great value for money with THEE most comfortable bed! We only stayed for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding, we would have loved to have stayed longer to avail of the bikes and cycle around more, a great addition to have at an apartment and saves on renting

Great apartment near to the oldtown. Only few minutes walk but it is situated already a quiet area. The apartment was clean and has a balcony and a well equipped kitchen. Really nice place to relax. Next time we should stay longer.
