We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

The apartment also has various useful books and tourist guides, as well as a gramophone and a collection of gramophone records that you can listen to.

The Birdhouse was a lovely spot. Beautiful view and uniquely (and beautifully) decorated. Branko had some wonderful touches, like wine and snacks on arrival, breakfast fixings for the next morning (eggs, milk, bread) and even food to make an evening pasta. Would highly recommend.

GermanyParking not really close but Branco organized it well because the Film Festival was going on and the town access limited. Pack light for the hike up but Branco helped very nicely!
Great Location, super friendly welcome by Branco, unique place with beautiful Terrasse and view over The Valley. 1/2 way up the cobble stone “street”, so a 15 minute walk uphill with the need to carry your luggage, so nothing for people with handicap or out of shape. Short walk to top where you find nice restaurants with beautiful views and sunsets. Lots of truffle dishes!

CanadaThis is a fantastic apartment and we really have nothing negative to say about it. I would point out that if you are coming by car, you will need to park below the old town and it is a five minute uphill walk to the apartment so if you have mobility issues, it may not be for you. Branko met us at the car and walked with us to the apartment, helping with the luggage as well. It was worth every step to stay in this wonderful place.
This is a very special apartment with the most amazing views of the valley below and mountains across the valley. It was possible to sit for hours looking at the ever-changing vista. It is spacious with unique furnishings and personal touches including many collected antiques that reflect our gracious host. The kitchen is small but functional and well-appointed. There is a good shower. The main room is comfortable and a great space to hang out in. But the most amazing spaces are the covered outdoor terrace and the bedroom with the sliding floor-to-ceiling opening balcony window. Branko is a very accommodating and charming host, he had stocked the fridge for our arrival with food for breakfast and snacks in the understanding that the store on the mountain was already closed. There are some very good restaurants up the hill in the old town and the restaurants with terraces are a fantastic place for lunch or dinner. Branko checked in with us daily to see if there was anything we needed. He gave us fantastic advice for places in the area to visit, including towns, wineries, olive oil, restaurants, etc.

Central location with incredible views & a terrace to enjoy them. The Birdhouse is full of quirky furtniture & knick knacks that gives it loads of personality. Branko is a very helpful & responsive host. He left some welcome supplies & lovely thoughful touches. It's a short walk up to the centre of Motovun where there are shops, bars & restaurants. A perfect place to stay to discover the charms of Motovun & central Istria.
