Nothing, everything was lovely! Be careful with the slippery streets outside but the location is fantastic.

The location was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Also a short walk to the beautiful harbour. The beds were large and very comfortable. As were the rooms! Every room had a private bathroom with a shower. We were lucky and had a wonderful balcony to look out over the city. Natasa was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

“Check-in” procedure was not communicated. This is more like an air bnb but since I booked with booking.com and my request for 1 hr earlier check-in was acknowledged, I didn’t bother to ask where/what to do since I thought someone would be expecting us. Well someone was there, very nice cleaning lady, but we tentatively walked up to 2nd floor and rang doorbell then just had to call. Also, safe boxes in 2 out of 3 rooms were not working. I think ours needed new batteries to open, and our 2nd room above us, the safe box drilled/attached to closet was broken and had a smaller safe box inside that worked. Except the small box can be easily removed from the larger one, light and easily carried away. The cleaning lady did her best to help and so did the owner who I called, but we made do and used safe box in 3rd room.

Loved the location right in the old town, making it very convenient to everything. We had 3 rooms and all were nice and looked just like in the photos, clean and very quiet. Rooms are good size and beds were comfortable. Btw, saw previous photo online and there was signage outside with Captains Guest House. When we visited in October, there was no signage so can easily miss but entry door is right next to MyKebab. (Our room was actually on top of MyKebab and no noise or food smell at all.)

We had problems getting into the building. Luckily another guest was close by and let us in.

The location was great and I appreciated the communal kitchen. Never met the innkeeper in person, but she took care of my questions quickly via text.

Just a little trouble getting in with codes on the door. The staff answered our call imeediately and tried to solve the problem. The code was stuck. eventually my husband got them unstuck

I recently stayed at this guesthouse in Split, and I must say the location was absolutely perfect. It provided easy access to all the attractions in the city. Upon arrival, we encountered a minor issue with the safe not functioning properly. However, the owner was readily available and responsive to our concerns, even answering our texts promptly. Their quick assistance in resolving the problem was reassuring. Apart from that, the guesthouse was exceptionally clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, the excellent location, the owner's responsiveness, and the cleanliness made our stay quite enjoyable. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Stairs could challenge some people. Host extremely helpful with additional needs trying to organise things that were not her problem. Highly recommend staying here.

The shower doesn’t stay warm for very long but having stayed in a few places in Croatia now this isn’t unusual. You just need to wait a short while between showers so you can get more hot water.

We absolutely loved our stay at Captains Guest House. We visited last year and decided to return again for part of our honeymoon. The location is fabulous, right in the heart of Split and close to lots of amenities. Natasa was so helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make this a special stay. The room was spotless and we had housekeeping daily. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
