Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No shampoo and shower gel; no fly screens against mosquitos.
Very responsive and kind host. The place very well located, with a nice garden around. The place was very clean.

The bed is too soft for a good night sleep....
Very convenient location! You can easily walk or ride a bike (free for guests) to the heart of Rovinj. The apartment is spacious with two balconies where we enjoyed our breakfast and some chilled moment after returning to the apartment. Parking is rather easy.... just in front of the apartment:)

Comfortable apartment with 2 balconies. Children's playground onsite and easy street parking. Only 10 minutes drive into the harbour parking in the centre of Rovinj.

The only slight improvement would be to possibly provide a couple of basic condiments - olive oil & pepper but that’s possibly being picky
Apartment was lovely, clean & tastefully furnished . The 2 balconies are perfect for the shade at different times of day. Air conditioning very effective which was very welcome. About 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Rovinj. Staff were very pleasant & helpful on arrival & also in providing us with a slightly later check out which was appreciated..Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay in a beautiful place.

Communication and check in process could be improved. It takes some time for their side to reply. When we arrived no one answered the door, although we didn’t wait too long, we were a little confused if we are at the right place. A gentleman who lives/works there helped us looking for the lady but we couldn’t communicate due to language barrier. Maybe a little sign on the main door would help.
Apart from the location, nice garden with lots of green and a small children playground are bonus. We loved the balcony where we had our breakfast and coffee. We were also able to use the laundry for free which is important for a long trip. Bed was decent and kitchen was well equipped

The water pressure could have been higher because the shower was just trickling. Although I don't think the host can do anything about this. :)

Great location , 10 min walk to town center , great Burek just 10 min walk (bakery Laste). Very comfy beds, and we enjoyed our two balconies. Great hosts, we had a little issue upon check in with a broken refrigerator (which happens), and the response was amazing- wishing one hour the hosts showed up at our door with a new fridge . Quiet and beautiful landscapes yard . Staff was so helpful with our laundry needs , the older gentlemen taking care of three grounds was a delight. Hopefully we can return some day soon ;)

The sound insulation between floors is poor. There was a family with kids above us, no sleeping after 7 AM (I could understand what they spoke about).
Spacious, modern apartment with 2 balconies, in quiet area not far away from old town (easy walking distance in the evening). I was happy to see they think on some details, what makes a visit more comfortable without having to immediately go to the supermarket (like tabs for dishwasher).
