Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was my first time to stay in the hostel as I want to go out of my comfort zone and try something different and by staying in the hostel. I had a great experience as this property is already in the old town & I dont need to walk satirs around town. I stayed in their Annex ( U2 ) USCA St. Thanks Milan for giving me a good room though the rooms are in the 3rd floor I am okay bout it. The toilet & shower room were cleaned and with good flow of water in the shower tap. I would recommend it to customers and definitely stay here again if I am back in Dubrovnik.

United KingdomNot necessarily a negative, but the front entrance is quite nondescript - make sure you watch the walking video that the hostel sends you, as it can be easy to walk past the door. The building didn't have great internal sound insulation. The hostel isn't huge, so you can hear people chatting and cooking in the kitchen even from the furthest rooms in the hostel. Remember to pack an eye mask and earplugs! The kitchen is a bit small - during peak hours, you'll find yourself working around a number of other guests.
The main building of the hostel (I believe this is mainly where the larger dorms are) is extremely sociable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and can give you any information you need about the local area and things to do. There's also a group chat for the hostel that allows you to organise activities with other Angelina hostellers. The beds are comfy, and locker storage is sufficient. Each bed has a little reading light and plug sockets. The rooms themselves are compact, but you'll likely spend most of your day out and about so it's not a major issue. I echo what other people have said about the showers - the cubicles are a little cramped, but the shower temperature and pressure is excellent. The terrace is cute, but closes at 10pm to keep noise to a minimum. The main hostel building is very easy to get to from the airport shuttle drop-off, and is next to a small supermarket and lots of local attractions.

BelgiumSome of the lockers where not working, they did not close with the locks. But the staff tried to help me and I found one locker that I managed to close. Price is a bit high for a hostel, i guess that is the price you pay for Dubrovnik. But other then that this hostel is perfect.
The staff was super friendly! The location was super good and the hostel was always clean. Spacious rooms and nice terras! There where some organized events, where you could meet people. It was quite in the evening and night after 22:00 so you could sleep perfectly. I felt at home at this place after staying there for 1 week.

EstoniaThe only thing i didn't like was the fact that If dorm rooms windows are closed and AC is not on during The night, The air doesnt feel nice in The morning because 10 people has been using a lot of oxygen in The room. So with window a bit open, no worries at all!
Location is good especially if you want to stay in old town. Nice facilities, roof top terrace and kitchen were nice. Here you can meet easily nice new people. Friendly staff. Special thanks to Anna!

United KingdomThe gps/google address gives you the wrong location. The bathroom situation is a bit chaotic as the main door faces the public hallway so difficult to get changed, and only can do it in the shower where everything gets wet...
Really close to everything! Good bunch of guests and staff.

CanadaTheres no "living room" but big balcony outside (but its cold now). beds are a small size (so you might need to reconsider if you're plus size), it was no big deal but when turning around I found myself almost falling 2-3 times lol.
Everything about this place is great. Location is good, bathroom and kitchen are clean and renovated. Rooms are good.

SwedenThere wasn't any hangers by the showers to hang the clothes etc.
Perfect location in the old town, the bed and room was alright. Make sure to get a room in the main bulding to be close to the kitchen and terrace. Lot's of fun activities planed by the hostel. A must do is to go swiming and cliff diving by the bar outside of the city wall

United KingdomAs mentioned in other reviews, the shower block doesn't have much space to change, making the process a bit awkward. The water pressure is unbelievably good however which sort of makes up for it.
Great location in the old town, clean, well run hostel with a nice atmosphere. Beautiful terrace area away from the bustle of the street below. A good resource for advice and booking tours/ activities. Showers are very clean with good pressure.

United Kingdom- Rickety bunk beds, noisy dorm mates - Kitchen and common area closed at 10pm so there was then nowhere to chill/socialise inside the hostel - Expensive for what you actually get tbh
- Fab location right in the middle of old town, great for coming and going through the day - Really nice terrace to chill on - Overall the room and facilities were clean, although there were someone’s old fake nails on the shelf by my bed

United States of AmericaThere were not nearly enough seats in the common spaces!! They had a great kitchen area and patio, but three times I grabbed take-away food and had to eat it on my bed (probably against the rules) only because there was no other place to sit! It was really frustrating. Also the lock on my dorm door would take a couple minutes of jiggling the key to finally open, but it did open everytime! Not super big deals, but enough of a nuisance for me to take the time to write them here! 😅
Good solid hostel- good location in the middle of everything, great social atmosphere, beds pretty comfy with good blankets. I would book again!

GermanyJust some suggestions: It would be nice to organise an extra room for luggage and to put some hooks on the wall in the shower and shower room. It also could be great to have an option to buy a locker for a few euros. :)

United States of AmericaWhen I got there there was a rude and unwelcoming short woman in reception( I heard her tell someone she's from Italy). It seems she didn't like me not saying hello to her but when I got there I was looking for my passport at the reception desk and once I found it I was like, I have a reservation here and she gives me these crazy eyes and says, " hi, hello good morning ( it was like 2 pm). Then later she made another unnecessary comment.
Its very central. The Bosnian guy was very friendly and helpful.
