Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SlovakiaLast renovation must have been 10+ years ago. Food quality was average in first 3 days then improved substantially for rest of our week trip. Parking lots were limited.
Excellent location close to beach and walking distance from Jelsa centre. Average quality for reasonable money.

SloveniaWiFi does work poorely - you cannot wach Netflix, forget it, food tastes the same every day and it’s not that good, the receptionist are awful - especially one guy you find sleeping on the sofa in the reception a qater to 7 in the morning, the ‘fitnes’ has only one bike and dated orbitreck, all other things are broken, it hosts schools as well with loud teenagers! If you want a calm vacation do not pick this place. One more thing, only two tennis courts are usable, two are not and there not enough sunbeds by the pool :(
Close to the sea.

SerbiaThere is room for improvement when it comes to details. Room could be cleaner. Too many people at place.
The hotel has 3 stars and offers exactly that much, no less and no more. Position is beautifull, forest, near beach, town... Nice restorant food.

New ZealandThe property is quite far from the port $50-$90 taxi (make sure you pre arrange transport before arriving). The property itself is more of a family hotel and a couples getaway. There was afternoon tea arranged however was a bowl of croissants and a group of kids took the whole thing.
The staff at the property are lovely, super friendly and helpful. The food was pretty average, it was the same food everyday (lunch and dinner the same food items as well). The location was close to a little beach, quick walk into town and amazing views of the ocean. There is an open bar and available drink during the day which is great. There’s an AC in the room which is great.

United KingdomNothing really
Fab for the money. Food was fine like roasted meats and stuff and pour your own beers and wine . A bit dated in room but fine for money and just somewhere to get your head down .next to the sea . Good place for kids and family . Jelsa harbour - when you get off ferry it’s left 10mins walk up hill with places to jump in the sea. Stunning views and harbour is pretty especially at night. There are coaches to Hvar main town takes about 1hr 20mins

Bosnia and HerzegovinaWonderful Jugoslavia-style hotel: spacious with gorgeous views, beach and nature surroundings (minutes walk to a lovely Jelsa), loved it! The atmosphere is laid-back, staff friendly and accommodating, you feel free and unconstrained, and facilities are amazing (tennis, bar, swimming pool, promenade), with a special bonus (if you have kids, it's a blast), a mini-club where you can leave you kids 4h over day under the watch of a super nice lady and enjoy your time off:)) As said, this is a vintage Jugoslavija-style hotel, kind of resort you find rarely anywhere on the coast, rooms are very simple but compensated with remarkably generous and well-kept hotel facilities and surroundings. And for the price, it's far more you could ever get in some other very modern but confined space.

SerbiaEverything was perfect.
The hotel is located in the peaceful area of Hvar island, surrounded by beaches on both sides of the hotel. The hotel is renovated, clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and equipped with air conditioning (unnecessary) and TV that we never used. :) Where should I start? The food is delicious, there is plethora of seafood everyday (salmon, octopus, swordfish, dorada, shark...). The service is amazing, everyone is kind and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly which is a BIG plus! And above all, if you want to be relaxed, you are at the right place. The nature here, the beaches, the warm and peaceful sea, kind people, plenty of cool beach bars makes you feel like you are in heaven. And all of that, at a excellent price.
