Although we knew it before coming and it was not a big issue for us, there are no walking distance restaurants or shops nearby. But they recommended us a couple of restaurants that were really good.

The owner was very accommodating. The room with the balcony was spacious, very clean and cosy. The timetable of the swimming pool was a plus. The whole area is quiet and safe. Enough parking spaces for free.

It’s a nice accommodation in a quiet place. There is a swimming pool, breakfast. Rooms are super clean! Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. There is a big parking and supermarket around the corner. With a short ride by car you can get to good restaurants. 10 min driving to several different beaches. Definitely will stay there again.

It would be good not to allow guests to smoke on the balconies because it ruin mornings and evenings when you have to smell that horrible smoke.

The location is suitable for those who like to have a relaxed time after busy sightseeing. The swimming pool is a fantastic option for morning and evening swims or even during the day. Everything was spotless, and the hosts were amicable and attentive. It's enough space in the parking for all guests. Breakfast is simple but enough to start a day. It's easy to reach many places from the Pansion, such as Rovinj, Pula, etc. You can choose sites a bit further from the Pansion for lunch or dinner because they did not provide any other food options besides breakfast, but it was not a problem for us. Wi-fi was good. You can sleep with open windows and do not use any clima, because the weather was perfect.

It could have been mosquitos nets to the balcony door. It was ok that they had a socket mosquito device, but I would have liked to be able to keep the doors from the balcony wide open in the night. I would appreciate fresh fruits at breakfast and more vegetables, or at least more varied.

The pool is welcoming, the room was clean - room cleaning every day, the big parking space, the view to the pool from our room. The terrace near the pool is a nice place for morning or evening "dolce far niente". The breakfast has eggs, ham, salami, sausage, some cheese, packed cheese, gem, nutella etc., milk, cereals, just peppers and tomatos as vegetables, juice, water, canned fruits and a coffee machine. It was the same breakfast each day. It is a family pension, nice people. We were pleased of what we get for the price we paid. The air conditioning is good. The refrigerator is ok, it is able to keep the water and fruits cold. The tap water is also ok to drink, at least for us. The check in was quick and smooth. Thank you. Good places to eat are in Krnica, one beeing pizzeria Kum, in the very pitoresque little plaza. Duga Uvala beach is a rocky beautiful beach, at about 5 minutes by car. We did not need shoes to get into the see. There are pebbles here and there, making easier getting into the sea. Beeing in Croatia by car it was easy for us to go wherever we wanted, so the distance from the beaches it wasn't necessarily a problem. Bu on the way back to Rijeka, we lost a lot of time on the highway for they are working (and we payed a lot...). It have been better to choose the no pay road near the Istrian coast, through Labin, even if it is longer. And we stayed a lot at cestarinas, to pay, long ques... It is better to pay a bigger fee for all the roads in Croatia, than to keep tourist making endless queues on highways.

We arrived late, and I asked if I could buy a glass of wine. No, but I will look to see if I have a bottle you can have! She did! This is the kind of service I have rarely experienced anywhere. In Croatia, though, I have experienced similar hospitality before! Also, this is a nice pension on the country side.Nice pool too!

Just couple little things we would appreciate: "Mr. Breakfast" could smile a bit more and be more friendly :) If manager comes to breakfast, she should say good morning and smile instead of serious look and no words :) Breakfast enriched with scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and more fresh vegetable Ambient music at the breakfast (its weird to here everyone whispering) Background music at the swimming pool (at least sometime) Option of a coffee during the day Option of a drinks during the day (non alcoholic) Just a tiny things that make the atmosphere of a beautiful vacation.

Very nice stay in area which is not that crowded. Lot of beautiful hidden beaches nearby and always an option of the swimming pool, which was perfect after breakfast.

Was expecting more fresh vegetables to be served in breakfast bufet, no fresh fruits at all.

Spacious rooms, very clean and tidy, quiet hotel. Breakfast bufet ok and enough Hotel location is not a problem at all if travel by car. Sea coast and any restaurant is not so big distance away. Pool outside was a great refreshment.

It is rural located, so you need a car to get to a restaurant. Breakfast for vegan was -as expected- rather useless, except for bread with marmalade. My partner found it fine.

We travelled a lot around in rather low-budget hotels/apartments- this was for us the best place to stay. The area is super quiet, the pool is huge, we were often the only people at the pool area- others were at the close beach I guess. Beach is nice, we went to a rather remote beach vinjole by foot-where we were alone.

We came to enjoy Croatia without the sea. Hotel Oliva is designed well, but probably there was more expectation than reality, so the location of the hotel far from the sea allows. The stay could be great, but the couple who run the hotel are unpleasant. Especially the manager is buzzing people like in a military camp. Oliva is not a hotel, but it would like to be a hotel. Breakfast is offered in the morning, its quality is average, but that would probably not matter. Worse is that there is no working restaurant in the hotel or in the surrounding area. However, it is not possible to cook or use the facilities at the hotel. We had two rooms. The air conditioning was not working in one room.

The hotel is well designed. There is a great pool at the hotel.
