It was clean and they were very hospitable. The location was perfect but it can't be reached by car because it is very close to old town, although there were parking lots nearby (2-10min walk but they may be more expensive than the hotel).

The option of paying 40€ to meet the host is a request with NO SENSE. I love travelling and book with booking.com but this is the first time someone asks for money to meet you. This is CRAZY. Turists are just money, that's it. Moreover, downstairs there is a bad smell, I don't know what's happen in the private house at the entrance of the building.

The position is great next to Porta Pile near to the city center and there are a lot of restorants/markets nearby. The room was clean/spatious & very nice.

I'm quite a tall person and some of the beams in the ceiling were quite low - this could be added to the description and is something other travellers should be mindful of.

The location of this apartment is superb - just outside the gates to the Old Town - so you're close, but not in the thick of things. The apartment was quiet and comfortable.

Theres very little chance of an early check in or ability to leave you bag of you arrive early so keep this in mind. There is also no place to store bags after 10am check out, they provide links to services around Dubrovnik but none are convenient to the apartment.

The location is fantastic, 2 mins walk to the Pile gate and a few cheaper food options nearby like the Asian next to Hilton and Tomato pizza. The room is well appointed, although our room did have a slanted ceiling which made the left side of bed a bit of a bend to get into. There was a kettle and fridge which made for an easy breakfast with two small supermarkets next to pile bus stop. The view out the small dormer window was of the water and the fort, a great bonus. The aircon stopped working on the second day but messages were promptly replied to and it was fixed within hours.

only acceptable plug socket for the kettle meant having it on the floor, property would benefit swapping the large wardrobe for a kitchenette or small hob as the city is every expensive for dining out having the option to cook up some pasta at home would help.

We stayed 1 week but there was no towel change. So we're expected to use same towels for a full week. Not great. Shutter in bedroom wasn't great at blocking sunlight out but wasn't too bad.

Just a few of minor things that shouldn't effect choosing this property, - I would suggest supplying more of the basics like toilet roll, coffee, bin bags, dish cloths. One toilet roll clearly isn't enough for a weeks stay and its a pain to go out and get them when you just want to enjoy your holiday. - There is no information as to where the litter should go. As you can imagine with a toddler we had a fair few nappies everyday that needed to be disposed of. We managed to find some large public waste bins around the corner from Posat (Restaurant on corner) up the hill behind the public toilets. - If you plan on staying in on the evenings (unfortunately we had to due to strict sleeping times with toddler) I'd recommend taking your own Firestick/USB etc. as the Freeview on the TV is pretty dire. Half the channels required a pin. - We really could have done with a high chair. They are really cheap from IKEA and it would have made things so much easier for us. The provided cot bed was great though.

The apartment is located up a small quiet cobbled street a little further up from the restaurant Posat. Location is superb and only a minute or so walk to the gates for the old town. The apartment size is great with a dividing wall for the kitchen making it perfect for myself, wife and baby daughter. The apartment is lovely and quiet in the evening which was essential for us putting a toddler to bed. Everything was clean and tidy with nice neutral decor. The apartment was accessed using a code sent to phone on day of check in. This was really easy as no keys just a pin code for lock on door.

It was more a hotel room, not apartment. Other than a electric hot pot and coffee cups, that was it. Could not get reception on TV. Had to be careful not to bang your head on the ceiling beams.

TV and hairdryer weren’t working we contact the property, they took a long time to reply, and just told us to check if there was another hairdryer in the room, to check if the TV was plugged, basic stuff that of course we, and anyone else, would check before contact them. I felt like they didn’t take it seriously and for our whole stay the issues weren’t fixed.

Apartment it’s very well located in the heart of the old town. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Easy check in.

We had problems using the hob which we reported and the agency said they would provide instructions for future guests. I also said an ironing board would have been useful and they said one of them would have brought one to the apartment if I had messaged them.

Beautifully furnished, very clean, great location just a couple of minutes from the entrance to the old town. Lovely and quiet. Good air conditioning. Staff reply immediately to texts.

We spent a long time trying to get in to the room on arrival late in the evening, as the info given with the key code was not enough and we couldn't get hold of anyone to help. You need to touch the screen with all your fingers until the numbers come up. Then put the code in. Then press the 'on' button. Perhaps we were just tired.... Think the photos we saw on booking.com were of the apartment rather than the room we rented.

Great location just outside the city walls about 1 minute walk from Pile gate but very quiet. The room we had was small and the sloping roof was full of character but you have to be very careful not to bang your head. Room and bathroom felt 'brand new' and was very clean. Bed very comfortable. Excellent shower. Fridge and kettle very useful. View of the sea and Fort Lawrence over the rooftops out of the tiny window.
