Great location with wonderful view on the sea. Comfy apartment with all amenities needed. We stayed for a night but this apartment as well whole quarter of Hvar is really great location for vacations as well exploring nearby Hvar town. It is few minutes away from rocky beach.

The hosts were unresponsive - could not reach by any of the two phone numbers given. Someone (I suppose from house maintenance) came to our room to leave a handwritten note while we were away, and on the other day I got up from the noises of someone trying to open the door. Also, 3 light switches in different places were not working and coffee maker's glass carafe was full of cracks - I would suggest some maintenance check is needed.

The view from the balcony and the room is amazing. The location is perfect if you want to have more relaxed stay without crowds nearby - it's 15 min walk to both Hvar centre and gorgeous Pokonji dol beach. There is also a nice garden around the house that adds some coziness to the place.

Lovely Apartments with the most beautiful views of the sea. They were well equipped with dishes, pans, coffee machine etc. very clean, comfortable, and looked better in real than on the pictures. It’s also in a quiet area of Hvar ensuring good sleep and 10min walk from supermarkets or to some of the loveliest beaches on the island. The owner Tony is also very helpful and kind.

We stayed for two nights in June and found the apartment very comfortable. The accommodation was tastefully decorated, good air conditioning, clean and tidy. It is within walking distance of the main town, ~1.5km, and <10 min walk to the local beach. Lots of nice restaurants in the town. Google maps brought us a way to the property (on foot) that has more than 100 concrete steps up to climb from the road to where the apartment was situated, it could be difficult for some people, but there is alternative access points via the road further down.

We were all very happy with the apartments and would return anytime. If there is anything to make our stay even better, then it would be to have washing machines and/or laundry service at Apartments Maja.

I highly recommend the Apartments Maja! I visited Hvar for with a group of friends and rented 3 x Seaview apartments with balconies for them. They all loved the apartments. The apartments look even better in reality than on the photos. They are well refurbished, very clean and comfortable, with spectacular seaviews on the Pakleni Islands from the balconies. The kitchens were well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, coffee machine etc. The host Tony was very warm, welcoming and always helpful. The apartments were in a peaceful part of Hvar, where you can hear nothing but calm sea waves at night. Great for sleeping. We all left the apartments feeling rested and happy. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

It was lovely to have an area to be able to cook and the air con was very welcome. The view was lovely and we enjoyed watching the boats on the sea from our patio whilst listening to the Chicadas. It was quiet and withing walking distance from a few good swimming areas and places to get food.

Kitchen could have done with some more utensils, only two hobs cooker which makes it a bit unpractical to cook. Beds could be a bit more comfortable and the bathroom could use some hangers for towels and shower shelves for soap/shampoo.

Beautiful apartment with two balconies and lovely sea view. We could drop our bags earlier than check in time. Host was nice and responsive to messages. Nearest supermarket is 10min walking distance. Beaches and bathing spots are all around. Big plus is the air conditioning throughout the apartment, separate units in the living room and the rooms.

The balcony was absolutely phenomenal. The host was so lovely, let us leave our bags there early and put our food in the fridge for us. Kitchen facilities were great and the room was so comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Maja was super friendly and accommodating. The views were absolutely gorgeous. Beds were really comfy. Nice location, walkable from Hvar centre and felt safe. Really good facilities and able to cook there too. Lush balconies.

The host was super nice, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment overall was very cute, comfortable and well kept. Stunning view from the balcony, and located in a very peaceful location. I would recommend to get a taxi from the port if you have luggages, as we tried to walk there but it wasn't a great idea since is a bit far and uphill 😅

It is a bit of a schlep from the ferry to the apartment especially with luggage and on a very hot day. May want to hire a taxi to get you there.

The apartment is big with all the facilities you need. It is very clean, has a good kitchen, bathroom and air conditioning. Maja is a lovely host. The views from the balcony are beautiful, you can watch all the boats steaming out in the morning and back in the evening. There are places to swim directly down the apartment. Maja also has a restaurant nearby where they do excellent squid and homemade wine. We loved our stay here.
