Really comfortable b&b in a fabulous location yards from the parliament building and the river. Room was small but very clean. Good breakfast selection. Friendly welcoming host. Don't expect "hotel" facilities, it's definitely a b&b but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Space between the wardrobe and the bed was tight, especially with the doors open. Wardrobe shelves were high, so would be awkward to use if you’re short. Email reminding us about the 10:00 check-out time and possible hefty fine was rather blunt in tone.

Great location, airy room, lovely breakfasts prepared by Carmen. Welcome arrangement for leaving luggage after check-out.

Only a minor point was the air co in front of our window which was a bit noisy.

Lovely breakfast and eggs made on the spot by the owner herself. Had a wonderful time! The house is right across from the parlament and we got to enjoy the snowy morning before going to the airport.

Houses in a lovely old grand building and fitted out to provide rooms of excellent quality and privacy. The charming manager provided an excellent breakfast and answered any questions posed. Guide books and maps were available. ESCELLENT LOCATION.

Only confusing thing was that we advised we would be leaving very early for our return flight. During our stay no one approached us for payment of our room and we assumed payment would be taken automatically at some point. On our way home we got a message to say we had left without paying??? I did a bank transfer once I arrived home, but this definitely needs a little more attention to detail for the owners own sake really. Didn't make a difference to our stay, we still enjoyed it and would recommend.

Everything was spotless. Really good location ( bad thing the car park is 5 minutes walking distance and if you have bags not very convenient) Very unusual early check in. The staff was really nice. Breakfast was brilliant.

The location is good. The room was clean & cosy. We had a kettle to make hot drinks in the room. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a shower and again it was clean. We had free WIFI. There was a TV in the room. The couple made us feel very welcome.

The location is outstanding: just in front of the Hungarian Parliament. We visited all main points of interest by foot, enjoying the beautiful landscape view of Budapest. The room was large and nice, supplied with some tea bags and an electric jar to boil the water. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast perfect in quality and assortment, daily prepared by the friendly, polite and helpful Carmem. Very cozy B&B with only 5 rooms. There are one subway station very close - 100/150 meters from the hotel what is very convenient. We used the subway to arrive from the central bus station and to go to the airport . The public transportation is very efficient in Budapest. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets nearby. We had very good time in this amazing city .

Firstly the location is just perfect for walking everywhere and is very close to the river. The accomodation as you enter is full of character as if stepping back in time, yet modern and well lit. The hall is well furnished, well lit, with helpful leaflets on where to visit. The room was very clean, lovely high ceilings, the beds were really comfortable. It was so quiet. The place was fully booked as we stayed, but we didn't not hear any of the other guests. Breakfast in the morning we were greeted by the lovely Andy - a very well trained and gentle Golden Retriever. He was the topic of many conversations with the lovely owner of the establishment, Carmen, who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I came this time with my sister and I definitely plan to return with my husband. Thank you Carmen for a lovely stay. I thoroughly recommend Anabelle Bed and Breakfast!

breakfast serves from 8.30 and we would have preferred earlier but that is ok considering this is not a "big hotel". everything else was great.
