Even though the hotel rules don’t let you smoke in the rooms, they let people to smoke in the inner yard which is fine during the day, but quite annoying during the night especially when you keep the window open. As the area is super quiet you can hear every word.

When I was searching for a hotel, I was trying to find the option which is very close to the city. Central hotel 21 was the right choice. It took me only couple of tram stops to get to the city, which was very convenient. The room wasn’t too big, but I didn’t mind as I was on my own. The facilities are all clean and new, the bed is comfy, the room was cleaned every day.

The only drawback is that there's no lift since it's an old building.

It's a very comfortable, clean place. All the staff were very kind and very informative. Even I have asked to change flavors of tea in my room, they told me to feel free and change with what I liked. It is also a secure place to stay. I will definitely recommend. Although there is no lift the male receptionist was very kind to help us with the luggage. The breakfast is optional for €4 for croissant, coffee and juice which is a very reasonable price in Budapest. They should do even a continental breakfast. But overall I give them a100% well done for their great service and cleaniness. Apart from that is that public transport is within few minutes just round the corner.

The noise of the garbage truck in the early morning was disturbing. As the room is on the ground floor, it faces the street. The toilet was very close to the wall and people with longer legs would find it difficult to use it comfortably.

Apartment in the city center for a nice price, we were looking for a one-night stay before our flight to Australia. We got it. The bed was comfortable, room was quite small with a private bathroom.

Spacious apartment with all necessary things for a family stay. Beds are extremely comfortable, parking place (to book in advance) nearby, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Location great: In 20 minutes walk you reach the central city zone. The supermarkets and stores nearby.

Bed is small with large pillows. Mattress is too soft - kind of memory foam. Area of room is under 20 m2 (quite tight).

The room was really nice and comfortable and the bathroom too. We had rooms in the ground floor so we had an inner courtyard which was very nice and with benches and tables.. so it was very quite and looked private.. And the location is about 15 minutes walk away from the centre.. so it was nice. And the staff were kind.

There was nothing in particular I didn't like - maybe the room could have been a little bigger, but it is still a bargain at this price.

The hotel is in a very nicely refurbished building in a quiet street, with excellent public transport connections (tram stop + subway station a 5-min walk away). The room was perfect for a single night, small, but quiet, comfortable and nicely furnished. They don't have round the clock reception but early check out is simple, you just leave your key in a mailbox. Overall excellent value for money.

The staff were helpful. Rooms perfect with excellent heating which was most welcome in January! Even the bathroom had underfloor heating. Comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast of croissants and coffee for €4 which was delicious and a bargain.

Sound-proofing for rooms can be better. You can almost hear what others are talking about in other rooms if voice was slightly loud. Pillows were not very comfortable, but that could be a subjective item.

We had the room in the yard and it was super nice. The room was spacious and has everything you need. Hotel location is close to a vibrant area where you have access to many restaurantd and shops. Staff was very nice and helpful.
