Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hard to find any dislikes. The bathroom shower could use a proper glass door rather than a curtain. Literally that is all I can think of!
The 19th Green is an excellent bed and breakfast with a fantastic location and friendly, helpful hosts. We enjoyed a quiet night by the fire in the lounge playing the provided board games and card games. The room was well appointed with everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic! Everything was quaint, cozy, and just what one expects from an Irish bed and breakfast.

The road noise at night was noticeable in our front-facing room. Latching the windows helped a little.
I'd miscalculated when developing our itinerary and showed up a day early. Concerned that I'd have to find another place, the owner was able to accommodate us within the system. A nearby restaurant was convenient for dinner and the salon off the entrance enabled us to enjoy our dessert and some wine.

The room smelled of mould and all the furniture should be updated and the bathroom renovated. It is far from the city so if you want to have dinner there, you have to go by taxi it becomes possibly more expensive than staying in the centre. I find the property expensive for what it offers.
The property looks very nice from the outside and has a nice breakfast area. The staff is very friendly

The bed sheets were lower quality than expected. Pillow was stiff and thin. TV was very out-of-date, though we had little time for TV while we were there. Our room had no bedside electrical outlets; front desk quickly provided an extension cord that solved the problem. Our room was small with little space to open suitcases.
Breakfast was tasty; enjoyed the Irish white pudding. The location was nice; very quiet. Mattress was comfortable and lighting was good. Staff was very responsive to our needs.

Noise seeps in-between the rooms, so other guests make or break your stay.
19th Green Guesthouse is wonderdully situated, just outside of Killarney. You don't get the noise of the traffic or the pubs during the night. Breakfast was very tasty, and can be accomodated to a lot of different restrictions!

Not the fault of the hotel, but their electricity was out when we arrived. The staff did call us to make us aware of the situation in advance. It came back on within a few hours.

TV is very small and channel options limited. An upgrade there would be good. Also more outlets near the bed would have helped.

The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's just me. It's a shame the price did not include breakfast and there was no way we were paying €12 for breakfast. These are the only faults.
The staff were very welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had everything we possibly needed. Plenty of wardrobe hanging space. It was very clean. Lovely big windows. Not badly priced compared to the extortionate prices in town.

The only minor downside was the shower in the ensuite. The water was hot but the power was quite weak and it took longer than usual to get a full body wash.
An incredibly friendly and helpful host who couldn't have done more for us. Facilities were clean and breakfast was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend this property - excellent location in Fossa just outside Killarney.
