Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

House was fabulous it had everything required and host Yvonne was in touch to check in to make sure we had all we needed. Beds were super comfy and there was timber etc on hand to light a fire if needed. Great location within a 10 minute walk into center.

Very comfortable, well-equipped, well-appointed house. Everything we needed including milk, biscuits, jams, etc. Very comfortable beds. Convenient to centre of Dungarvan.

There was nothing we did not like about this place.
We loved our stay. It really felt like a home from home. The house decor is beautiful and all rooms decorated to a high standard. A pleasure to be in the house as opposed to just sleeping somewhere. There is a small outdoor yard and BBQ if the weather was suitable. Lots of towels and the kitchen had every mod con needed. The showers were great, pressure was good- lots of hot water even with 5 of us all taking showers. The best was the lounge, where 2 lovely big sofas were comfy and cosy for the chats in the ev, or morning time. Parking was easy out the back or simply on street in front of the house.

The house is GORGEOUS. every amenity we could think of and more. So close to town, we walked it, approx 5-10 mins to the square. Yvonne had left a bottle of wine and all for my mam for her birthday, such a welcoming touch. She had everything so well organised: I would think she is in the hosting game a long time. Check-in was very handy, stayed for 2 nights, ideal location for what we wanted. Nice and private for family event.

Nothing to fault we all couldn't of been happier with the property and just a stroll into the town centre extremely convenient .
Beautiful home everything you need pictures don't do it justice Yvonne the host was a lady to deal with couldn't be more helpful would definitely recommend without hesitation.

three couples stayed in the property, price point may be high for a family or extended stay

Really great home for a stay in Dungarvan. Three large bedrooms, plenty living and dining space, and a lovely outdoor area. Would highly reccomend and only 10 minute walk into the main square.

Nothing, everything was perfect. My only suggestion would be to provide instructions with the cooker /microwave...it took a bit of working out.
Everything. Very well kept, stylish property, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, loads of towels and linen and all condiments and toiletries provided. Fridge had milk, 3 chocolate bars for the kids and a bottle of wine on arrival. Great location, minutes.walk from town but away from any noise. Would recommend 100%. And Yvonne is very helpful and even brought us a cake😊

Excellent facilities, Yvonne has thought of everything, very clean and quality fittings. Welcome pack , very thoughtful, visit during stay to ensure everything was OK, the best self catering property we have ever stayed at .

It was all great, the showers were a touch cold but apart from that I have nothing negative to say
Everything was perfect at this beautifully decorated house. It was even better than in the photos with loads of space, gorgeous artwork, and a lovely patio to have your morning coffee. Yvonne was attentive and helpful and really made us feel secure and welcome in the house

Nothing - it was perfect!
The house was so comfy and cosy - it was really modern too. We went as a group of girls for the weekend it was perfect loads of space and the kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom with loads of towels, good size bedrooms etc. I couldn’t recommend this house more and Yvonne was very helpful if we had any queries.
