Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaRoom a bit on tight size with TQ o big suitcases, but apart from that all good.
Location, staff and quality of breakfast. Availability of car parking at a subsidised price also a big plus.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom could need some refreshing.
Our classical twin bed room was cosy and the beds very comfortable. The location couldn't be better, in the heart of the city (close to restaurants and pubs) and yet rather quiet. People at the reception were very friendly and very helpful.

United KingdomAccommodation is getting a tad tired now. Refurbishment is needed soon. Fittings were broken in bathroom etc and furnishings are now rather dated.
Love Brooks hotel. Been staying there for many years now. Location is perfect.

PolandIt's an old building which is visible, though not to the point, when it becomes an issue. The doors didn't seem too safe and the key card was demagnetized at one point (quickly fixed by nice staff though). Mirrors everywhere in the room were quite uncomfortable but that's just the preference I guess.
I absolutely loved the location, it was close to literally any tourist activity you may want to do, so it's perfect. I like that the staff was really kind and helpful. I loved having a mini fridge, which is very useful and everything needed for making tea or ironing clothes was also in the room. The bathroom was really nice. The room was really spacious and well-equipped.

United KingdomWe booked a twin and double room but we were given 2 double rooms. The staff apologised and offer to fix the issue but then put us in another double instead of twin room. They did split the beds while we were away but was not the smoothest check in. Staff were nice though.
The bed was very comfy and room was clean. Great location for seeing Dublin City centre. Upgraded to deluxe rooms free of charge.

IrelandThe food wasn't great. We looked up the restaurant menu before we went and loved the options they had so decided to eat in the hotel. On the night however we were given a different menu, the options weren't great and the food that came out wasn't the best either. . The fish was very dry. The breakfast wasn't good either and 30 minutes late coming to our room
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us to go to the Olympia theatre

IrelandOur room was quite small and the en suite was tiny and very dated, could do with a make over. The bed throw had stains and marks on it, I don't know why hotels use these, they are very unhygienic in my opinion. The extractor fan didn't work in the ensuite either.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked hot breakfast, also buffet with fresh fruit, bread and cold meats
